The Andes Mountains were not formed by the tectonic plates. They were molded by a god, a being of higher purpose than any mere man on this pathetic planet.
There seldom be something as ever growing or hungry as the Andes Devourer - entire landscapes drawn by what was perceived as fictional amounts of red and white scales. Spanning for miles, light years, maybe. Something beyond the meaning of science itself.
His body had hardly any end. Those who met his tail were immediately hailed as worthy as he. He proved to be more indulgent on mortals than any other God, however.
The ancient tribes of Latin America fell prey to he. He who is the cause of the world shifting, immense weight driving the rotation of the planet; or so they theorized.
He, the world serpentine that put Jormungandr to gawk at his lengths. He, the one who forged rivers of the seas that were many. He, that fed on his endless servants and slaves he toiled to reach.
But now, he lie in the earth, his immaculate mass managing to conceal itself underneath the fickle surface of the world. He lie in wait, watching the societies he once knew change - change like he did to his precious world eons ago.
He never grimaced or grumbled, for when he ascends once more - the heavens will be the audience to the plundering of nature one last time...
Or in a nutshell, Chilesnake. I love this danger noodle.
