I'm really pleased to be introducing a new character (well, new to me anyways) that I was very fortunate to be able to rehome. The art, and original design of Baihu, is by the wonderful TiToErez.
I consider myself lucky that Tito posted this character for adoption about a week ago. The owner of the character, Tzvii on DA, was looking to rehome Baihu. As a favor, and as the original designer of the character, Tito posted Baihu here on FA with a link to the character for sale on DA. This was fortunate, as I would never have seen the character otherwise... I abandoned DA a few years ago, as it's turned into an AI wasteland. I absolutely adore Baihu's design. Felines and dragons are my jam, and Baihu is such a beautiful tiger hybrid... the feathers give her a rather unique and magical look. Baihu came with a considerable amount of art, and I'm sure Tzvii had some difficulty letting her go.... Baihu has been shown a lot of love through art previously. I will slowly be uploading some of that art here, and I'm starting with the art piece that started it all... this beautiful reference by Tito. Thank you, Tito, for your exceptional artistry and making it possible, through your post, for me to bring Baihu home!
I asked Tzvii if I could keep Baihu's name, and she agreed. Baihu ( 白虎 ) means "white tiger" and in Chinese mythology represents the guardian of the west. While Baihu isn't white in terms of color, it's an apt description of her personality and aura... she is a good, kind, and benevolent spirit.
Baihu is a spirit that manifests primarily in this physical form (but she has a few others). I'll be referring to Baihu as her, but her gender is rather fluid and she can appear in feminine, masculine, or genderless forms.
