Being barred from her own reality and time because she thought she was making a sacrifice for the greater good to redeem herself, only to find it was all for nothing did a lot to Hekapoo. Being alone for an unknown amount of time, unable to make clones of herself anymore, moreso. At first, she came to accept that this was just the consequences of her choices and felt she could not just deny her reality. Her solitude.

That was... until he appeared. A boy who too committed a taboo in his world and was barred from his reality as a result. But she could feel something about him. Unlike her, the magic that he possessed was not stripped away, thanks to the key he held. And at least her time spent in this void didn't mean that she wasn't aware of anything happening in this multiverse. He was here because he was needed to save it from the coming darkness. Plus, something about him reminded her of the love she used to have. His earnest nature and his purity of heart. Maybe his muscles too.

And after so long of being alone, feeling like no one could save her from this gilded cage... when he promised to free her... she felt hope.
