(Another commission by VectorConvoy ( https://bsky.app/profile/vectorconvoy.bsky.social ). This is one of three stories that I have been waiting forever to write. The biggest story in terms of the 'United Equestria' series of stories I've been writing. Also, that monster shown on the cover of this story sure does look familiar...anyway, onto the synopsis!)
"Despite the constant threats that had been showing up, the world of United Equestria has entered an age of calm. Starfleet's grip on the world is starting to lessen and hope starts to spread throughout the land. Hope for a better future. Hope that both Equestrians and Space Ponies alike feel.
That all changes when a swarm of insectoid monsters starts rising from the ground, awakened by Plunderseeds planted by Discord as a result of Mokushiroku's plans. In the deserts near Appleloosa, earthquakes herald the rise of an ancient creature. In Griffonstone, two humongous flying kaiju start to stir in their volcano home.
But all of the events PALE in comparison to what happens when Lightning Dawn, obsessed with becoming stronger, causes a tragedy that might spell the end of his world. Nobody in United Equestria is prepared for the coming of a calamity fueled by grief, pain, fury, and vengeance.
Ragnarok is coming...and United Equestria will never be the same ever again."
