Used to love playing it with friends. So many random builds and play styles. Then slowly turned to shit imo. Was fun though (little comm i got for it way back :3)

Check out the SPT (Single Player Tarkov) mod. There's a whole ecosystem of mods as well that you can plug into it to further customize your experience. There's also a multiplayer mod for it as well that's pretty easy to set up a server on your machine to play with friends. I too got burned out by the regular game.
