Figured I'd throw in a little extra since the comic might get a little hard to follow if you don't know shit about Poker.

Reminds me of how in the very early Yu-Gi-Oh days, Kazuki Takahashi included very basic rules for the various games he introduced in the manga, including the one that eventually became Duel Monsters - which eventually led to the physical card game being released and exploding in popularity right as the Pokemon TCG was starting to falter.
Honest question because I found it very useful for a person who wants to learn poker;
So the player chooses to discard up to 3 and the dealer can deal cards of the discarded value until he has 5 again?
So you can have rounds until you don't have equal stakes?
The discarding of cards happens when and how many times is it possible?

1) Yes, you pick up to 3 cards you'd like to exchange for new ones, you discard them and the dealer gives you the same number. Let's say you have 2, 4, 6, and 8 of hearts, and then you have 7 of clubs. It's a good idea to discard that 7 of clubs and hope for a heart to get a flush.
2) You only have two betting rounds, only at the start of which you can swap cards. During the betting round people can raise the stakes as many times as they want. After everyone's swapped cards one player can, for example, raise one chip, then the other players call, then the player raises one chip again, the other players call, and so on (well, until they run out of chips).

This is probably the best explanation of poker I've ever seen. So many shows/books/etc always assume that the audience just knows how poker works or struggle to explain the rules and, since I'm not a gambler, I've never really gone out of my way to understand it. Thank you for the clear explanation!
