From what we've seen of the dinner table scene, Brand isn't that good when lying on his feet. And he doesn't even have those anymore.
All the worse that Kitsune are known for being tricksters.
Since your here, I've a lore question. Is it possible for a kitsune to loose a tail?

It's complicated. The simple answer is "Yes, but how depends on which body of folklore you look at." In some, you can depower a kitsune by cutting off their tails. Ō-Inari can yank them if a zenko commits an evil act in her eyes, or if a yako challenges her and loses. Some stories feature them sacrificing a tail to fire off a sort of "limit-break" spell. In all cases I've read (and I've hardly read them all!) losing tails reduces their power, but they can gain them back. For example, a yako who loses their tails to Ō-Inari can choose to Heel-Face-Turn, and after 500 years of good deeds, they are given zenko status, allowed to rise in rank, and gain back all their tails.
Heaven only knows which applies, if any, in Virmir's universe. I did note one interesting thing, though: A yako (evil) kitsune cannot rise in rank past a certain point, but they still can gain tails and power through simple age-leveling, or lose them if they screw up. That seems to jive with what Roko-san said earlier.
Also, apparently I'm the crazy otaku guy now. Baka has no idea. I'm the resident weeaboo. Get it right!

The truth that he’s not Saida? At that rate, Brand’s all, but asking to be blasted, because saying that they “swapped bodies” sounds like a desperate lie from a shapeshifting kitsune.
The fact that Roko swapped the Eyestone means that the quetz wouldn’t know that it has been stolen, and Tarzan won’t wait to check that.
Besides, since the Eyestone is artificial, it’s not impossible for someone to make their own, so there’s no way to prove that it’s their’s while it’s sill inoperable.
It’d be different if Saida was there, but Brand doesn’t have any way to definitively and quickly convince Taran by himself.

Don't really know how viscious the Queen is, but I can guess she might switch them, get rid of Brand, and imprison Saida with the intent of changing her mind eventually. They do live a long time.
That's if Taran doesn't just kill Brand now thinking he's another Kitsune or something.

Taran wouldn't believe it, or wouldn't care. All he knows is that this is NOT Saida, and honestly, he's gonna grab Brand, and take Saida home. Then Vetra has two foreseeable choices.
1. She swaps them back and fries Brand for all the crimes he's committed against her.
2. She fries them BOTH for high treason.
Either way, this ends POORLY for Brand, unless Saida manages to talk him down, because he is NOT in any sort of mood to negotiate right now, he thinks Brand intentionally led him into a trap.

And THIS is a wuh oh. That barrier isn't gonna hold long without Suzo in the picture, and then Brnad is GONNA get clobbered. They already know the eye was swapped, it was mentioned earlier.(Unless I misinterpreted something, they said they were looking for the real one?) And Shock Jockey really isn't going to take any excuses. This would be a VERY good time for some "Meanwhile" involving Saida and the lab. Otherwise this is going to go VERY south VERY fast if she doesn't serendipitously arrive to explain everything,.
I am unsure why, but I get the feeling the big zappy noodle boi up there is getting set up by using their power too much against that shield and the towers to drain them or worse. And then somehow once weak enough, the big kitsune is going to pounce and drink them dry like a capri-sun to get the last bit of power they need to go nine-tailed for fun to ensue.
Bonus points if said sune quite literally pulls out a comically large drinking straw to stick on them before they do that.

Suzo is very much down right now. And it would be in his best interests to STAY down, so he probably will.
Right now, he didn't even WOUND Teran in their battle, and his usual scheming got him smashed into the ground. He has nothing left to gain, by wading back into the shark tank. In fact, he'd probably be racing to his lab right now to get some contingency plan, or just to hide and... oh dear.

I remember saying earlier that power is exponential. That should apply to defense as much as offense. I don't think it's impossible that Suzocon wasn't taken out by that blast.
It seems Taran has made the gravest since of not making sure his opponent is dead before turning their back to them. Also he broke Suzocon's experiment

The alternative, which I am hoping for, is that Suzocon-sama eventually crawls from the wreckage (minus a tail) and then finds all the Miyos have been destroyed by Saida. Miyo-chan can finally rest in peace.
Or his body gets killed off and his spirit is forced to occupy one of his own Miyo clones until he makes a new one. Serve him right.
