Machines are Rym’s technological undead, as it were. They come in all decrepit shapes and sizes, beings left in the ashes of the former world. Most are bound to a particular location and are no longer controlled by Aethos, though some wander the world in a purposeless daze. They speak their own language and fake that of others by means of a chatterbox parser. Some have gone absolutely mad, and will kill on sight (as many undead ought), while others are cold, calculating minds locked to forgotten ruins or even great goliaths wandering the landscape in search of enemies which no longer exist.

Rym is a complete setting. We're working on getting it updated to modern D&D rules. :)

I have a few ideas how Pathfinder is the direction I will use if I am going to run D&D now. Either that or convert things over to Savage Worlds. If I seem to be a bit of a grognard I started playing D&D in 2nd Ed. after I saw 3.5 and now what I like to think of as 3.6 in Pathfinder, to be honest I have the system I am most comfortable with running and what I would want to play in. Rym is a setting I would definitely consider using with Pathfinder as I like the back story as I have read it. Heck I look at a few races and have ideas on how to make a character using the Fursona rules I have from Skortched Urf: http://rpg.drivethrustuff.com/produ.....cturers_id=402
As furries using the Pathfinder system, it's a book that is simple enough to get started with enough options that you can pretty much detail a character to where you would want them. One word of caution though: they do touch on the sexual aspects of the fandom and that turns people off. But for the most part you can get a character that is well balanced enough to play in Pathfinder with Fursona which is the reason I do recommend it to anyone that is serious about making Pathfinder furry races and characters even if I do put in the disclaimer as I feel I have to.
