
I've always wanted to imitate those good people on Oekaki. Their use of lighter tones and sketchy lines has always enthralled me because it's gorgeous to look at!
I just found out that it's also a <b>DAMN</b> swift way to produce art. I'm not even kidding. This pic took me just a few minutes to do.
The rest of the time was spent LOOKING at my own pics. I find it terribly embarrassing to have to study my own work to get my lost skill back. It just doesn't seem quite right to me... one pic, 60 minutes of studying it and lots and lots of hot chocolate to grant me sugar induced skill boosts.
that and I was already working on drawing. I've been chipping away at a Nuzlocke challenge comic of my own. Thus I've still got it in general drawing just not in anthro drawings...

draw the first funny thought that comes into your head. you don't gotta post it up online just draw it for giggles. heck if you're strapped draw what you did the last hour. practice doesn't require perfect art, it just requires you to be comfortable with yourself and drawing.
