I had been planning on attaching ears, but I'm worried that will turn it from kind of cute but obviously still a sock to totally silly. I kind of like them how they are, but if you have a strong desire to add ears, let me know. :]
(for the record, I'm wearing another pair of socks underneath because I am finicky about other people's feet and so therefore assume everyone else is, too. :D)

Oooo... Although actually, the cuff looks like it was crocheted back and forth through the back loops only on each row...
Hehe, sorry vombatiformes, I'm sitting here analyzing the socks you made... I knit and crochet both, though, and I'm always looking for new techniques that might be useful. And you're creative enough that it's fun to see how you've done some of your stuff! :)

No it's fine! Analyze away -- you're spot on.
Ribbing is crocheted by sc in back loop only. I love doing ribbing. And the rest of it is just sc around without turning, yup! It would turn out a little more consistantly with color and spacing I suspect if I did turn, but I don't really like it when socks have "seams". Give and take I suppose.
And thanks!

You're welcome :)
What *I* am curious about though, is how you did the heel... I've done the cuff the same, and foot the same, but the heels I've crocheted were always seamed. Either you did something different, or you're a lot better at hiding seams then I am!
And I kinda agree about not turning when working in the round... It always looked too 'ridged' to me, and that's the only way I can really describe it.
