My final project for a week-long comic drawing bootcamp class that I attended over a year ago. And when I say bootcamp, I mean bootcamp... it was a seven-hour class. Loved every minute though. At least what I can remember of it through the sleep-deprived daze, anyway (just ignore the van and replace it with an actually decently-drawn Aerostar van, please).
One page a day doesn't seem like much but dayum, idea generating and storyboarding and panel placement and sketching and resketching and resketching again and cutting out screentones and applying screentones and picking little bits of screentone off of your pants and inking and lettering can fill up a day pretty darn well.
Oh yeah, left-to-right by the way.
Inspired by a true story. Page one of two. That's the Oregon Coast. It's supposed to be, anyway.
