An old inside military joke/complaint is how wearing a reflective belt is mandatory no matter what you're wearing or where you are, especially overseas, all in the name of safety. I decided to be a little more literal in my approach to safety while running on base.

Our training's like that too... one of our jokes we used all the time in Iraq and Afghanistan was that if the cars had their hazard lights on they were out of play :P
Don't know if I've ever said this to you, but I Thank You for your service to our country. Probably not said enough ^.^
Hahah not a problem. I'm not the kind that demands thanks, just a job for me, but thank you.
All the belts are good for is just being another handle when being sarc'd...they wont save you otherwise from anything :/
You wouldn't do this fo real, no balls.
The belts are alot nicer then the vests too

HA Husbands a Marine I've heard the glowbelt complaint before! xD
I'm thinking of joining the army. Tell me, is it really hard? Would it be hard for the average 18 year old?
A lot of that depends on what you want to do in the Army really. It's not very hard though it can be very tiresome and tedious at times.
It does require physical fitness but the hardest part is having the mindset to see through it. A lot of people don't do well with being yelled at or whatever, but it's all a game and nothing should be taken personally.
Exactly, My cousin(Seargent in the army) Said that by breaking you down they can make you strong, but it's really just a game. Thanks!
AHHAHAHAHAHA! Damn 1st Cav, got us again! Dude, we cant even wear PT's on our down time anymore
._____. u would do that

So you have to wear a reflective belt while using the restroom, bathing, sleeping, or getting to know a "comfort woman" at one of the bases. That really should be amended.
lol, not really fat... just horrible upper body strength... never scored above a 70 on the push ups...
