I think the word he was looking for is "blue". Not sad - BLUE. They're easy to confuse.

But he really is adorable!

Yay thx! looks awesome.

And the space reference is the fact that the underside of his wings shows the region of hyperspace co-local to where he is in normal space, in real time of course.

actually the color could easily depend on where in hyperspace you are or how deep, since hyperspace as a region could encompass up to infinite dimensions.
