The first version of the MancFurs logo developed by Stuart Otterson with input from  darkoverord

The head in the centre represents the Manchester Terrier with perky ears rather than flopped, though Stuart is concerned people confuse it as a bat. The use of a canine head logo is inspired by the Wolves F.C club logo.

It was Darkoverord's suggestion/insistance that a skyline of Manchester city centre be shown through the icon. Skyline taken from Wikipedia.

The red and orange are the colours of the Greater Manchester council crest.

The logo is mainly used for our Twitter display pic and other social media profiles. It's important to note that what we essentially regard as the logo is the shape itself, obviously this logo is not that reproducible for print nor does it look good in fliers. If you look through our other designs you'll see our logo pasted around but only using block colours instead. You may also notice sometimes we put eyes into the logo and other times don't.
