My niece asked me a while ago to draw a picture as a wedding gift for two friends of her, who are really big Disney fans. She gave me photos of the couple plus a list of Disney characters to choose from, I went a bit overboard though and drew a whole bunch of them! (and added some certain br'ers)
I made this back in March but now that they're wed I can show the picture!
They made a huge print of the colored version, and framed the original inks as well. I wasn't there to see it but apparantly the couple liked the picture so much, that the groom got all teary eyed ;)
The original inks were drawn with a pentel brush pen on an A3 sheet of (normal sketching) paper. The digital colors were done in Paint Shop Pro 5.
It was a fun challenge to try and draw all these characters, and pose them together in a big picture somehow!

I think that'd mostly have to do with the amount of prints they make, and such. Furry artists are independent and need to feed themselves from these incomes. Big companies make prints in bulk which makes the prices so different. When Disney would do a print run of only 200 of a picture, the prices go in the hundreds.
