That is excellent work. There's only one thing I can think of in criticism - the mountain on the right could do with some more lighting/highlighting. It looks a little too dull compared to the mountains in the background and the lighting on the earth giant.
By the way, I love the fact it's got a whole forest on it's back with birds taking flight. That's an awesome detail.

When I look at this piece, tears come to my eyes. I'm not trying to overstate this, but in my opinion this is truthfully epic work. I'm admittedly terribly geeky, and the feeling I get from this image is the feeling I try to capture by playing online games (I know, shoot me. :p). The soul-touching emotion of witnessing something supernatural and a complete change from day-to-day mundane activities.
I know this marks me as a proud gamer geek, and I doubt this is the genera that you were aiming for even remotely, but I think this echoes the feeling in gamer's hearts (at least in mine <3) when they encounter a completely new land with an entirely new set of monsters. At least, that's how I felt when I saw this. ^_^ Amazing work, fantastic coloring, and fucking neat monster. <3
