Nice job, all those details in 30 min and its still only called a sketch.
Do you think it's worth the money? I'm drawing with a standard tablet right now, and wondering if having a Cintiq would make any difference on the "feel" of drawing digitally.
I have used: bamboo fun, intuos 3 medium, cintiq 12ux. TBH I would get a wacom Intuos 4. I have one and I love it. The cintiqs have terrible color and are not easy to calibrate at all...
Cool! That helps me with my drawings and whatnot. Thanks ^^
I'm really considering a purchase here, though I think ill ask these questions first :D
1- Would the CD be included in a digital copy of the book or is it only for the physical copy? (i.e. would we be able to get the CD content digitally somehow?)
2- If going for a physical copy, how far do you ship?

Okay, so if you pledge 15$ you get a digital a digital copy of the book and downloads for the tutorials and whatnot. If you pledge 30$ you get that plus the book. AS for shipping, it looks to be around 5$ for shipping pretty much anywhere.
Question: Think your video tutorials would help artists that use other art programs that aren't Photoshop (SAI, GIMP, Mypaint, Painter, sketchbook express, etc)?
My cousin was watching the video with me, and she was really inspired with it.
:D I'm sold! Tojo, you're nothing short of amazing. and I'm hoping that in the future my art will be of comparable quality and in comarable time. So, if you're selling your secrets in this book, Please take my money!
I've been watching every step of this book process, and I gotta say I'm very interested in it. I want to do digital art so badly, but I wanna know more about how to use the program, proper shading and whatnot. I've been going just on the very minimal and often times hard to understand tutorials that artists have put up on FA. If/when I get the money I will most definitely purchase a copy, since from what I have seen thus far it will be quite informative. I enjoyed the video quite a bit, and it will be good to see information that coincides with it as well.
Loved watching that tutorial... It certainly showed me interesting techniques and ways to work with layers and brushes. Thank you so much for it!
You're an awesome artist, keep it up!

So include a video aspect as PART of the book. Did you ever see some magazines in bookstores that some of them have a CD with brushes, tutorials and such?
And if the book is already out....this is going to be some sort of special edition?
An how is the cintiq21ux compared to the intuos tablet?
In terms of functionality

All your above questions are answered if you read the kickstarter. As for the cintiq, it's the same as an intuos except it has a screen an costs $$$
Ahhh. So it just needs to be publicized. Neat :> now I have reason to go back to Barnes and noble....IF they'll carry it >(
i know. But still...now i have something to wait for. The CD inclusion would be terrific as well.
Woooo girl! You gettin' some serious chuh-ching for that book! Mmmmmmmm mm!
Thanks for this. :P I haven't really tried started coloring with the flats as the shades before and work lighter. I think I'll try that in my next color job.
Totally learned a few things! Thanks so much, I will make sure to watch for the product and wish you well!
Incidentally, I found a color wheel for Photoshop that has rocked my world:just google magicpicker. It cost like $15 bucks but works beautifully. I am spreading the word, as I have never been a fan of the native PS color thinger.

I drew something similar!
But yours makes mine feel inadequate. x3
Nah, not really. Your tutorials have really helped me come a long way. Thanks!
