Thing is, inside the car, you don't have heavy comfy cushions, sound suppresing foam, and such things, unlike most american cars of the time, Also the seating position is more like "sport car" so for the front people, leg room is bigger than it seems, especially since it's a rear engine car.

Of course, you wouldn't fit 4 quaterbacks in this car, but it was enough for the average 2 parents/2 kids family.

Brings back fond memories of childhood... That was one of the few cars actually available in Poland under communist rule (mind you, I recall them from the post-Soviet era, when they were still plentiful, as I was born in 1988).

Hehe. My grandfather had a FSO Fiat-Polski 125p. Memories...

But it was in France ^^I remember that before 1995, there was still Eastern and Russian cars on our roads... Now, nothing except for Dacia.

I'm actually happier. The 126p is a deathtrap in a road accident. "Canned meat", anyone?
