...Of course, she's more of a supporting protagonist, seeing as she came into SHIELD's "employment" by turning herself into a Keter class-Bio hazzard to begin with.
Really, it wasn't smart to turn yourself into something that can easily be described as 'the Rule 34 version of John Carpenter's The Thing.'

Okay, bottom line, I don't think I really WANT to try to make a serious, epic, moving story with a four-titted dragon-girl. I mean, that mere detail right there indicates some sort of ulterior priority of the author beyond simply crafting something entertaining, because it's the sort of detail you could either leave in, or leave out and it would otherwise probably not affect things except in the addition or removal of fetish-fuel. I personally don't find it difficult to be entertained by something that doesn't cater to my fetishes every now and again... you know, I put down the internet for a while and go watch 'Lord of the Rings' without thinking to myself "This would be so much better if Arwen turned into a blueberry, or Galadriel had four ass-cheeks." And with that in mind, I thought to myself "You know what, I bet I too am creative enough that I could make something that people will like, around which the entire entertainment value isn't rubbing one out in their computer chair."
