TF...podcast? What an interesting idea. I'll have to give it a listen.

Now I kinda wish I could add you and BSB to Skype...but I would never chat through anything else aside from text. ^^; However I feel I would be more a bother than anything. I definitely want to commission you one of these days again for something more TF based. XD

Ugh it keeps stopping on me like every fifteen minutes automatically...it's kind of annoying but I can't figure out what's wrong. I have to reload before it'll play more. Do you know what may be causing that?

I enjoyed it. Very silly, informative, it's perfect. No your voice is not annoying. And I'm sure everyone's at least a little sensitive to how other people think of them.

I know you said you are trying to save space, but the sound could use more quality, the artifacts caused by the compression are very noticeable. Maybe you could try to use a filesharing service. Not trying to be rude or anything like that, just being sincere here.

Maybe this sounds old fashioned, but Dropbox looks like a good option for this or Box. You just need to link to the file so people can get it, not much different from what you did this time but you don't have to worry about space.

Anything more complicated than that would be overkill IMHO.

Seems like a good first episode to me! Despite how often "what got you into TF" is discussed, it remains interesting, and you guys covered it pretty well. Nobody had an annoying voice or sounded awkward, and it went at a pretty good pace. I'll definitely check out the next one.

Deffinately would love to see the audio quality bumped up, but even so, this is really really cool! TMNT for the win!

Listened to the whole thing through now - was honestly just fab hearing your voices, sometimes I feel so disconnected just text chatting to teef types.

Also I am so amused - and you are all so lucky - Therian being OK with Ang's fetishes and BSB and Thara being in the right plac eand just drunk enough to risk putting thei guards down at the right time. =-P

(And Fen, just curious - what was your first experience? Mine was the Transmogrifier arc from "Calvin and Hobbes." Pretty much 90% of my worldview, philosophy, and vocabulary came from that strip.)

S'like a friend of mine who lost a finger at like age 2 or something...she says she remembers remembering it, but that's as close as she's gotten.

Considering this is your first one, you did a really good job with it! I know from experience (working on Analogues) that it's a tricky thing to keep talking about, but you three seemed very comfortable with each other and that helped your banter sound friendly. Don't worry about going off-topic too much, as that's kind of the nature of podcasts, and tangents are often very fun and humorous.

About the only thing I can say in way of critique is that the audio can sometimes be a little hard to hear, especially in the early parts but it does even out towards the end. And I can understand you wanting to compress the file to save space. Talking for over an hour makes a big file size. X3

All in all, you did a good job and I'm looking forward to the next one!

you should just be able to right click and click save as. but make sure the whole file downloads! The first time I tried I only got the first 25 minutes.

I have heard half of it. I will try to hear the rest of it tonight or tomorrow. I really enjoyed the podcast! It would be great if this could be like a live thing where we could post comments or stuff! I would definitely hear it.

Your voice is not annoying! But the volumne is very low, I have to set it up all the way up and I could still barely hear tharakaos and blackshirtboy.

And my opinion about TF and fandom. I think TF is bigger than the furry fandom. Many just are not interested about the furry fandom and yet they enjoy and are very interested in TF. Therians for starters.

Is this the collaboration you mentioned in the stream the other day? It's an incredibly awesome idea, and I'm anxious to give it a listen! I'm on crappy hotel internet until Sunday, though, so it'll have to wait.

Still, the very thought of a TF discussion/podcast is really exciting.

Oh geez, I remember that episode of Totally Spies...guilty pleasure, to be sure. One thing you guys didn't mention, though, was Magic School Bus, which the kids seemed to turn into animals every other episode. I think at one point one of them turned into a plant, too?
On the topic of Animorphs, goes to show how bad it was, one Halloween I wanted to go as an Andalite, with a wooden lower body and everything...first time I ever thought about getting a fursuit, haha.

It was pretty good to listen to, and I was great to just listen while working. I was glad that you seemed to have a clear direction for the conversation, and I feel that you guys kept it moving at a good pace. Not sure if you've tried this or not, but you could always just locally record them, then put the file on the server. That way you can place it somewhere else, or use a more preferable compression format. Though that's mostly spectulation...

I was looking for a new podcast actually and this one is hitting the spot. Any chance you'll be connecting to something like iTunes?

The english dub was done in Toronto, so I guess they also just slapped on some Canadian locals while they were at it. Hence my confusion.

Well, I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this, but I was blown away! You guys are intelligent, funny, and really entertaining to listen to, which makes for a brilliant and fun podcast! I'm dying to get more already!

I'd like to see this on itunes as well, if only so I can subscribe to it and let my computer do the work for me, heheh.

Saw it last night and put it on my Ipod, listened to it as I was leafblowing snow off of the cars at my workplace this mornin', unfortunately, it was not as long as it takes me to do the lot, but alas, it was very nice! I really did enjoy listening to it. As someone that really loves the communities involved with TF, but doesn't really talk about it with anyone, this was a great listen. Felt on point, never got really off topic, yet remained what felt like an open conversation.

I personally really love finding out how people got themselves involved in places like this, so not only was it good, but fascinating, and entertaining. Hope to hear more!

Excellent podcast you all! This is the stuff I love talking and hearing about whenever I encounter fellow TF fans. It's just really fascinating and even funny how people kinda of stumble into the niche. The stories and reactions that come up. Everyone knows that moment in their life when theyre able to talk about their "weird"obsession to someone that actually gets it too. It's like... Finally! Someone gets me ! I'm not alone

Just listened to the new podcast. For the record: I totally have TF dreams like that. They're pretty frequent, awesome, and yeah sometimes frustrating when the dream moves on and you just want to stay with that scene!
And I totally relate to the experience of eating breakfast up in my room, just hoping for the "right" episode of TMNT to come on.
And yes again to feeling a bit sick inside when someone else would mention anything about TF. (later realizing that was shame)

That was amazing! I love hearing people actually talk about this. It makes it seem like it's a thing that actually happens in real life instead of just being sanctioned off into a little corner of the internet. I loved hearing the stories, and Angrboda, your voice is great! You even reminded me of a local personality on a radio station near me! Fir your first podcast, this is fantastic, and it gives me something interesting to listen to when commuting. I'd love it if there would be the possibility of viewer interaction, too. Maybe a live feed where people can call in. I know that if it happens, it'd be way down the line, but if you can do it, I'd certainly be behind you! I wish I could meet people in real life that I could talk to about this kind of stuff, so even calling in would be great!

That was very fun to listen to, and it really opened my eyes to seeing wow I really am not as crazy as I thought XD or at least I am crazy with some pretty awesome fellow fans :3

Ok, so I forgot this was in my inbox and hadn't listened to it yet. I'm sure you guys have heard way too much back from listeners already, but holy shit, the sick feeling when someone else brings up something related to changing or transforming? That happened so many times when I was younger that I can't put words to it.

This was pretty awesome, a lot of things touched on here hit home to me, and from the comments above many others. Hope you guys get together and do another.

What stopped you? Grown-up problems or did you just lose interest? I don't mean to offend, it just felt like there was a genuine happiness behind this.

If and whenever you get the chance or desire to do another, know that there is still interest in these.

Wish I'd started listening to this stuff sooner. It's stunning how many of the themes that you guys brought up in this podcast and how many shows/books/general interests were things I couldn't get enough of either, or really identified with.

I'll definitely be digging into the second episode, and I really can't wait to hear any others that get released.
