"Lately I’ve had the pleasure to work with a local non-profit organization on a small project for my Documentary Photography class. The work they do is amazing – it’s a haven for neglected, abused, and refused wolf-dogs, and they have over 70 animals on premises at any given time. It’s a strange thing, to be so close to so many massive and beautiful animals..
One thing that is sometimes difficult to show in photos is the sheer size of these massive animals. Here, you can see a much better reference of the true stature of these creatures – the smaller skull is that of an average domestic dog – what one might call a “Heinz 57″ mixed breed, and in life probably weighed about 30-40lbs. The larger skull is that of a grey wolf."
