Rules How we work
***
When buying an illustration from us, you must trust our taste, style and color correction. We will correct any mistake in your character that we made due to our own carelessness, but we will not make changes to the technical component of our work, regarding the atmosphere, stylistic solution and color.
We have two types of queues. Large commissions and small commissions. Large Commissions - Large illustrations and platforms with a complex background. Small - a full body without a background; portraits; sketches
We take small works more often, and give them away faster, because they take less time. Therefore, if you have ordered a difficult job, and you see that we take several simple ones in a row, do not worry. We haven't forgotten about your work, it's just that one artist is doing it now, and the second one has time to work on another order! We calculate the time, and do not take extra orders if we do not have time to deal with them))
The execution time of the illustration is from 1 month to 3
The lead time of a simple order is from one week to a month
***
We work strictly according to the queue that you occupy when you take commissions. I enter you in my Tu-du list, and you can find out what number you occupy, there you can also find out what state the work is in (%)
***
We perform the work in stages, first in order of priority Sketches are made, then Lines are made, then color, and so on according to the same scheme. If your work requires urgent completion, then an additional payment must be made for speed, and then your order will be completed within the set deadlines, when we will not be distracted by other orders
***
We always show the stages of work, and most likely if you haven't been shown anything yet, it means that the work is going on, and we just have nothing else to show.
Stages of our work (If it is a Commission WITHOUT a background)
1. A Rough sketch showing only the position of the figure in space, its position and dimensions relative to everything else. At this stage, we DO not draw the details, the sketches look ridiculous and maybe a little strange. Don't be afraid of it. Payment is made after this sketch is approved
2. Detailed sketch. We work through the details of the character, taking into account its anatomy and features, you can make edits without restrictions (provided that you know what you want, and will not ask me to redo ten times one paw just to see)
3. Line. This is a clean, neat linart that will remain in the final version of the work. Cosmetic edits are allowed here, such as the number of spikes, eye size, and other non-critical corrections
4. Color. We fill the work with a flat color. If the character is monochrome, then gradients are added in the necessary places, darkening or highlighting, which will later help the perception of the image along with shadows
5. Shadows. The volume is made, reflexes, highlights, reflections are applied, and the final processing of the illustration
Stages of our work (If it is a Commission WITH a background)
1. A Rough sketch showing only the position of the figure in space, its position and dimensions relative to everything else. The background is very abstract, mostly color spots showing the main objects. At this stage, we DO not draw the details, the sketches look ridiculous and maybe a little strange. Don't be afraid of it. Payment is made after this sketch is approved
2. Detailed sketch. We work out the details of the character, taking into account its anatomy and features. Background colors are selected, and object silhouettes are refined. You can make edits here without restrictions (as long as you know what you want, and don't ask me to redo one paw ten times just to see it)
3. Line. This is a clean, neat linart that will remain in the final version of the work. Cosmetic edits are allowed here, such as the number of spikes, eye size, and other non-critical corrections (working with the background is not performed)
4. Color. We fill the work with a flat color. If the character is monochrome, then gradients are added in the necessary places, darkening or highlighting, which will later help the perception of the image along with shadows (working with the background is not conducted)
5. Background. The main background render, all the details are worked out.
6. Shadows. The volume is made, reflexes, highlights, reflections are applied, and the final processing of the illustration |
