Some clarification about fetishes
Awoo ! Hi everyone ^.^ !
Hi all ^.^ !
I feel like maybe I need to do some clarification about what I will and will not draw in terms of fetishes and kinks.
Yes, I do like to draw "weird" things such as living suits, and I am fine drawing scenes featuring moderate takeovers and mind control even if I'm not into those myself.
However, while art is up to one interpretation and I have no control over what kind of context or stories people already paired my pictures to, there are also many things I'm definitely not into, and now I feel like somebody may get a wrong idea about what I do draw and what I don't.
To be more specific, there are three fetishes in particular which seem to can be associated with certain works of mine: Transformation, Merging, and Absorption.
I'm sorry to disappoint anyone who wanted to commission me with the impression I would draw such themes, but I am not into those at all and, at least personally, never even think about them when making art for other people.
Furthermore, please don't ask me to draw something for you and then pair it with some subject I'm not into, that's deceptive lieing.
Of course, in case of doubt, you can always ask me beforehand if I will or will not draw certain things, but please try to understand that just because you see some pictures done in a certain way, it doesn't mean the artist is into the same things you or anyone else might associate those with.
That is, unless the artist explicitly says so.
Thank you all for the attention ^^

It seems based on the others thats what you mean, but just wanted to check.
I think the way I feel is:
* If someone pays me for a work, then whatever fantasies they make up about it after I'm done and paid... that's up to them, not me. My part is over.
* If something I've made inspires others to ALSO make new works, be it fan art, stories, or creative descriptions? That's awesome! Being the catalyst for creativity in the world is great.
* I can never fully control how people view me, and it would be exhausting to try. All I can do is try to treat other people how I'd like to be treated. Not that I'm perfect at it... it's a work in progress. n.n;
Kinda like, for example, saying I enjoy choccolate cakes and making them, but then because of it somebody assumes I like any kind of cake as long as there is choccolate, so they ask me for a choccolate fruit cake when I don't like fruit in the first place and neither handling fruit itself.
But, that's me. We all have our own anxieties, and I totally understand that. If you are deeply uncomfortable with people mistakenly thinking you're into things you aren't, then you set the rules.
Try not to let it hurt you if people don't see the rule and make descriptions you don't like. From my perspective, they probably don't think they're trying to deceive you, they're just getting what they like from you and then doing what they want with it after, which they probably assume they are free to do since they purchased it from you, know what I mean? Sort of like how if someone buys a cucumber from a store, they wouldn't expect the farmer to come knocking on their door with a cease and desist if they put that cucumber way up their butt. XD
And, they don't bite, you can try to ^^
