MFF Retrospective

It was a really really good convention. I spent most of the time burning myself out socially/physically/mentally, and then trying to summon up the energy to continue to function at the convention. One of these years I'll make sure I get myself a room so I have a space to retreat to and recharge my batteries, ha. x3
But yeah. Saw so many amazing folks and friends, reconnected with a lot, had a really good reminder that seeing folks in person is different than the madhouse of online interactions. Like how just because you haven't talked to someone in ages doesn't mean they don't like you, or like hey, who really gives a heck about the stupid online arguments that people get wound up in? It was a really good time for recharging my batteries and shaking off a lot of the ill feelings that have been following me for the past half-year. Not that those are gone, but still.
All in all, if only one could bottle up some of the magic of the weekend for later. x3 A lot of the time, I like just sitting around and soaking up the vibes of the place. When not hanging around with other people, anyway. Now it's back to the doldrums of regularity. x3
I'm really appreciative of anybody who came out and said they knew my stuff or enjoyed it or whatnot. I probably didn't give the best responses because I was so wiped most of the time, but I do appreciate it all the same. It's a bigger motivator than you might think. x3
And besides that, there's probably a lot to say........but I'm feeling exhaustion set in something awful. x3 Think it's time to take a nap before I've got more work later. Catch you all around, MFF was magical. x3

I hope you get tons of rest and relaxation, and I recommend testing for COVID today and Friday if you're not already planning on it. And I super hope you enjoyed the con!
