Update 2024!

Journal full of journally things.
🦊 Squeezy the Red Fox here! 🦊
It is about time I update this journal for 2024.
MFF 2023 was an absolute blast, as always. There is always something different and unique about each year that makes each event memorable in its own way. Be it meeting new people, trying a new suit, visiting somewhere new nearby the convention center, or just going to a new event I have never been to in the con, it is always my favorite time of the year. This year, the charity really hit the feels and pulled at my heart strings. The charity this year was Live Like Roo and they help with financial assistance for families with pets that have cancer. Through 2023, my little corgi mix, Charlie, dealt with two separate bouts of cancer. He had surgery for thyroid cancer and, in follow ups for that, I found out that he had prostate cancer that required treatment. It's never fun to think that you are going to lose your dog twice in one year. So, these guys are doing God's work by helping families keep their best friends alive and giving them the second and third chances they deserve. That aside, the rest of the con was great. Saw good friends, chatted with new people, and just overall enjoyed hanging out. Looking forward to next year.
Starting off 2024, I got the bug to work on some more music. More to come through the year as motivation hits and time allows. I did decide to test my wood working skills (of which I do not have) on building a custom cabinet for an Ah! MY Goddess pachinko machine I bought. It's pretty bitchin', so I am excited to get that done throughout the spring. Also, HELLDIVERS 2! That game has been a blast since I started playing it. Otherwise, not too much other than waiting for some bigger events and trips to kick off later this year.
As for the dog (see above), he is doing very well after cancer treatments. He is due for another round of radiation therapy come April. Not gonna be cheap, but doesn't matter. As long as he is happy and healthy, no expense will be spared. He is going to compete in our local Corgi races (senior division, of course) in May and I am looking forward to see how he does.
For anyone interested, I made a Tiktok and Instagram for my dog, Charlie. He's a little corgi mix and deserves all the loves in his senior years. He's almost 13. He's been through a lot of shit.

Best of luck to you and your pup with the cancer treatments. That is definitely a scary thing to deal with. *hugs*
Thanks! I appreciate it. He's been a trooper through all of it.
