I think everyone will understand if commissions are behind. The main concern should be yourself. Are you and everyone else in the home alright?

Yes, I got my 5 and 2 year olds out of the house. Grabbed my dog and my tortoise and bawled like a baby because I couldn't grab my gator. (but he is fine)... The fire took out my bathroom and destroyed the entire upstairs with smoke and heat and water. The downstairs was untouched by fire but the smoke and water caused a ton of damage there as well. I am currently being bombarded with phone calls from insurance and restoration experts, etc...

It will be a long process, but I will get through it better and stronger... so will my kids because they are freaking awesome!

Aww, Good luck on the after math. I know growing up I knew kids that had their whole house burned down. Its a sad thing but as long as everyone is safe then it could have been worse. Good to hear Gator is okay too.

I was so thrilled when I found out he was ok too. It was funny because when the fire official walked me through the house once the fire was out, all of the fighters were standing around in a huddled bunch and one finally looks at me and says... "We heard there was a gator in here, and we can'y find him, but we are kinda freaked out"...

Bwhahahahaha... I started laughing and say "He's only as long as my arm guys, and he's in a tank in the dining room downstairs"...LOL!

I just need to find him a temporary home, or get a smaller tank for him so I can keep him here untill it's warm enough to put him in his outdoor enclosure for the summer.
