Millennium Park Fursuiting - 7/13
Run by dyandod
DATE:
Saturday, July 13
TIME:
From 2:00 to 6:00 (you don't have to stay the whole time, but this means if people are late, they can still join in!)
WHAT IS IT?:
We're going fursuiting in Millennium Park and the surrounding area for a few hours! (Furry gear (ears/tails/etc.) is welcome, too, if you don't have a fursuit)
FURSUITERS:
Fursuiters can meet up around 2:00 near the SE lobby on LEVEL *TWO* (NOT three!) of the Millennium Park Parking Garage (underground). If you're late, the parking garage is still a good place to suit up- it's pretty vacant so there's little chance of "ruining the magic" when you suit up! Hopefully, we'll be able to head out by 2:30.
WHERE TO FIND US:
If you're coming after 2:30, we'll probably be checking out different parts of the park. If you can't find us easily, you can call/text me (Dyandod) at 224-600-8504. If you're coming before then, there's a staircase on the corner of Monroe St. and Columbus Dr. that leads right to the lobby, where the fursuiters will be getting ready (we'd appreciate it if some handlers could meet us there).
COST:
The parking garage costs around $25. Otherwise, it's absolutely free!
Contact Dyandod to answer any questions!
I'm really excited about this event, and I hope to see you there!
Somebody comment on this comment plz!
That way I won't forget about this =w=
Also, I'm really going to want to try eating in fursuit this meet, since I'm ridiculous like that.
You're also going to have a terrible time parking and suiting in the underground garage there too...its going to be full, even tho the City is asking everyone to take the CTA to the park.
I would recommend moving it back a weekend, to the 20th.
You know what, maybe I'll look into going to Navy Pier! Well seriously, that's something I've been considering anyway, but now there's only five days left and.... yeah.

(see parking, about half way down on the right side).
So yeah, you've lost the changing place.
As for Navy Pier, I can't offer anything on that. Someone will have to ask their permission I'm sure, since it really isn't a public place (kinda sorta is, but...). I'm sure someone can help out with coordinating if you can't over the next two weekends...all that has to be done is send off an announcement, really, and make sure the meeting/changing place is set up and known to all.
I'll see what I can do.
