Also,
This year we’re changing things up a bit.
We are waiving the $1 charge for badges, but in exchange,
anyone who is not bowling at a meet up is to pay a $1 cover charge at the door to help out the bowling alley.
If you are bowling as normal, then the price is the usual $11 per person.
Bowling signups are now at the door and end at 9:30pm.
We are accepting PRE-REG for the first couple of months (Jan- march) to help with the long registration lines.

NONE of the money goes to the D.G. FurBowl staff or furry group.
The alley owner asked for this new cover charge to happen. We as staff had no say in this.
Besides, it's one dollar. One. I don't see why anyone should be horribly upset.
A few years ago, I would have agreed with you. But after a pair of my friends began running a comic shop, I got to watch them work the delicate balance. How do we host an event where we'll make enough money to facilitate the extra help, or justify being open later? Payroll, electricity, any materials - it all needs to be accounted for. I wonder if they're actually staying open later specifically for us - a group was scheduled in just after our last meet, I'm sure they had to think of all the same things for them as well.
To me, though, I can't be upset over a dollar. I'll have way more than a dollar's worth of fun if I'm not bowling.
If I regularly went I wouldn't mind paying a dollar either and was just curious is all x.x
As a side note, thanks for the watch, dood!
yes we have 2-3 lanes we keep open for anyone non-furries that want to bowl with us. mostly it's for people who make a reservation ahead of time.
Anyone who comes in off the street is informed that it's a private event going on.

That aside, the rates seem quite reasonable what is a $1 in this society these days, if it helps pay for overhead, then job well done.
It was updated in October 2014 and i'm updating it as i type. I will try to be better about updating once a month.
