Otakuwolf Terms Of Service
Awoo ! Hi everyone ^.^ !
Somebody made me notice i don't have a proper Tos page as i usually explain my commission terms when somebody contacts me for some art, so maybe i should write down a few guidelines as reference for anyone to see when coming to my page ^.^
1) Are you open for commissions ? How do i get a commission from you ?
To check if i'm open for commissions you have to keep an eye on my journals, if there's one titled "Open for commissions" or something similar then you can ask for a slot in the series and i'll contact you back via-note once confirmed.
Please don't ask me for a commission if you don't see the "Open for commissions" journal.
Keep in mind that i prefer to work on a limited number of commissions in every lap so please, don't take it personal if i won't add you to the list in that moment because you might still be added in a later series.
2) What can i ask you to draw ?
What I can draw:
- Any kind of anthro or feral species, keep in mind that canines and felines are my best while avians are my worst
- Any kind of non-fetish vanilla scene, keep in mind that sci-fi and mecha are my best while history settings are my worst
- Fetish wise, only rubberwear and bondage related. I might draw rubber symbiotes depending on the kind.
- Violent content might be ok depending on the violence grade (for example i'm fine drawing combat scenes)
- Vanilla sex scenes are ok depending on the kind (no pregnancy or inner shots) even if i don't have much experience on those
What I won't draw:
- Any kind of copyrighted fictionary character (like for example those from movies, videogames, TV shows, etc.)
- Any kind of fetish that is not STRICTLY about rubberwear or bondage (so things like "transformation" or "merging/absorption" are a no-no)
- Any kind of gross/messy/extremely violent image (like for example toiletplay, torture, etc.)
- Hardcore sex scenes (like for example those involving exagerate amouts of fluids, big genitalia, etc.)
3) How do you work ?
- Before i start your commission make sure you can be contacted anytime because i'll be sending images of the work in progress and i'll need to know from you if i'm doing it right or not and if you have any preferences for it
- I usually finish to ink a sketch after 24 hours i recived the final approval for it, so make sure it has everything in place before to confirm it because there won't be any turning back after that point
- Once the picture has been inked, colored, and shaded, i'll send you a preview image for final approval, and unless it needs some changes to the colorscheme you'll send me the payment, and once i'll recive the payment i'll send you the original picture and post it on my FA, Weasyl, and Deviantart (depending on the content).
4) How much do your works cost ?
This is a temporaneal clause until i manage to make a proper commission reference sheet but consider that single character pictures range from 50 to 75 USD depending on complexity, every extra character price will range from 85 to 100 USD, and mechanical designs will range from 100 to 150 USD.
The mechanical design prices do not apply if the character itself is wearing or is a mecha himself (so armors and stuff like that do not count as mechanical design but as characters).
A price review can be found on the "commission info" tab of my FA page
I DO NOT TAKE NFT AS PAYMENT.
This should go without saying but I'll leave it here just in case.
5) I don't have enough money to can afford a picture from you, are there any other ways I can pay ?
Yes , I also accept physical and virtual goodies for as long as their value matches the commission price.
Also, if you are an artist yourself we can do a trade instead, but the number of those for each commission round will depend on the other "offers".
6) Can I repost ?
The picture is for you so OF COURSE you can.
Just please remember to give the proper credit if you do it AND wait for me to post it first.
7) Can I resell/use for commercial purpouses ?
Explicitly no, unless a mutual agreement with me is achieved beforehand.
In case of a sale/commercial use that goes without said agreement, I do keep the right to profit off the artwork beyond the commission itself.
8) Can i commission you a picture for somebody else ?
Yes you can, but i won't take any responsability if the other person doesen't like it or is not ok with it.
Please be sure to have the proper authorization from the other person before i do any work of this kind or somewhat know the likes and dislikes if you're planning a gift (at least enough to don't have me make something wrong).
9) Any last things i need to know ?
For traprunners commissions please check ->>HERE<<-
Cosplays and costumes do not count as "Copyrighted characters" for as long as the cosplayer can be identified and is not a copyrighted character from a TV show, movie, etc.
Pokemon, Digimon, and fictionary copyrighted species do SOMEWHAT count as copyrighted characters, so while I can draw them, I also cannot take a monetary payment for those.
Speaking of, as alternative to monetary payment, in some cases I can also accept physical or virtual items too, as long as the value corresponds to the monetary cost of the commission.
About mechanical designs: those are a particular kind of art that may require a lot of time and tinkering so a preventive agreement on the payment methods (and quantity) is required for any commission involving some kind of intricate machinery (like veicles).
I can also accept short comic commissions, but while i accept some good pratice on this kind of art working on ideas from others you should also keep in mind that it can be a very time consuming thing and i don't have much experience on those so we might have to communicate a lot during the process.
About the payment for those, consider the "Mechanical designs" point above.
IMPORTANT:
You must be at least 18 years old to commission "mature" or "adult" content.
If your commission includes "adult" content material then you are automatically declaring to be at least 18 years old and i won't take any responsibility if it turns out you're not.
DO NOT link me whole stories as references, it makes it difficult for me to understand what i'm supposed to draw.
If you want me to draw something based on a story, please describe the scene I have to draw (who are the characters, How they look, what they are doing, and the environment around them) because i just can't read thorough a wall of text only to find the one paragraph i need.
I hope i won't ever have to do use this last clause you're about to read, but after i noticed that some other artists friends of mine had to deal with not so nice commissioners, as a preventive measure I reserve myself the right to not accept or even interrupt/cut out a commission before completition for any reason.
These are my Terms Of service for commissions, i hope it will be enough and you won't find it somehow problematic.
If you have any questions, please leave a comment below ^.^
