Oh my God, Ed. I must say I'm a little jealous of you two lol. Go enjoy the heck out of it! :D From the pics, it looks like you're just about in paradise. ;P
Oooooh! Those 21's are really wonderful to see up close. What nationality was the Mig? I'm supposing the museum will keep it on static display even though a drop of grease and dusting the seats off is all you really need to get it running again. :D
He was Hungarian (golden paint) I'll soon submit a picture, he is in very nice condition, at least from the exterior, except for the pitot, it was the most "unstraight" thing I've seen on a plane for a while I think.
I really would like to see one flying, with Mi-8 / Mi-24 around, oh and a Mig 25, I love, Mig-25s :P
Wow! I like the picture you sent. It has a box for chaff/flare dispensing? o3o
LOL! Yah, it does seem a lot like that, doesn't it? It's like the same folks that designed the Corsair decided to make a jet. "How can we cram this thing with the biggest most overpowered engine(s) we can find and still make it fly?"
What could go wrong? Well, the US failed to design something that wonderful before the F-15 came out, lol. Ours probably lacks alcohol coolant too. A drink for me, and a drink for the jet! ;D
haha, yeah a BIG drink for the jet... no more alcohol to cool the radar ? "BORIS, COME HERE, WE NEED VODKA TO REFRESH DA THING !"
F-15 and Corsair were real beasts that's right.
For Mi8, yes it's chaff/flare dispenser, but I think this one is an extra, I remember that the MI-8 MTV2 had it inside, in one of the tiny rond windows ( don't know the name of it xD) on each side, I suppose MTV3 (on picture) has it too at the same place, but more flares is more fun apparently, when Vlad has no more fireworks on the ground for example :P

Each year we hold the National Championship Air Races in Stead (just north of Reno, NV) ..it's always a blast to go there.
Have fun.
Lovin' it ^^

The MI-8 is a helicopter, right?
The mig 25 was literally "Boris, I want to travel fast", "Say no more Vlad, I got something for you"
A box with fans and metal plates for wings :D
And it's nato-named foxbat/foxhound, what could go wrong :D
