Customer reviews journal, please comment!
Hi there guys! This journal is for all the awesome people who have commissioned artwork from me. I'd like to hear your opinion about the process of dealing with this dumb bat. Are the prices reasonable enough? What about the feedback and speed? Do I send enough WIP shots? Is my art skill worth the price? Would you recommend my services to other people?
These kind of questions will help me improve my work ethic, so be honest~ c:
These kind of questions will help me improve my work ethic, so be honest~ c:
1.- about prices: doing a balance between other artists and yourself, i think your prices are very reasonable for the kind of quality we are receiving in the results.
Sure, can be a bit difficult for some people who live in latinamerica due the crazy currency exchange against the US dollar. But still, the prices are very good.
2.- about time and WIP: ive comissioned some other artists before who really take their time (5 to 6 months) to get me at least a WIP, just to not hear from them again.
A constant communication between the artist and the client is what really works, -!: you excel in both aspects. I love the way you keep in track with your clients sharing WIP in all the comission phases.
Time is perfect and, to my point of view, very quick!
And ive recommended you with some other friends as well doing so with others.
Hope this feedback helps you out. Good stuff
1.) I think your prices are pretty reasonable for the quality of art received! I never thought myself overcharged or undercharged, personally.
2.) Speed wise, you do commissions pretty quickly, it's almost shocking how fast you tend to be, from my experiences!
3.) WIP shots, you send a good amount, and it's nice that you send a rough sketch before you accept a commission, to give us a general idea of how it'd look like.
4.) As for art skill worth with pricing, I dunno what to say about this, I think it is, but this may be something for you to answer on your own, sort of if you think it's worth the time and effort worked.
5.) I would recommend, and have before, both with friends and in descriptions for uploads, for people to check you out or commission you. Hopefully they do!
Hope this helps you out some! I enjoyed each commission from you, and would love to commission you again in the future!
Price: I was pleasantly surprised by the price being lower than your usual cellshaded artwork. I'm assuming the different price was because it was a multi-slot ych, so you save time on each one. You could probably charge more if you wanted.
Communication: You were cooperative and responded every day.
WIP updates: I received a sketch and 2 colored WIPs. Progress was quick and I was able to ask for edits.
I would recommend you and your artwork to others.

What about the feedback and speed?
Communication is key. And I felt very comfortable with the communication about this commission. Especially, being so responsive about something you already mentioned TOS-wise and is almost *impossible* from my point of view, you still looked into it. This is customer satisfaction at it's best, really!
(Also yes. No one reads TOS of course x))
As for speed, I'm usually not in any hurry. So you've finished this a lot faster than you would've needed to from my side. From what I hear from others, I am aware this is important to a lot of tails, though.
Do I send enough WIP shots?
For this YCH/template with lines only type commission, I'd say yes. (No WIPs.) You looked into the character well enough to portrait their nature correctly immediately.
Is my art skill worth the price?

Would you recommend my services to other people?
Absolutely!
1. Prices are great. I would even suggest raising them if you feel like you get too much work at once. Definitely top notch value.
2. Extremely communicative, much more so than any other artists I've worked with. I never felt like I was waiting on anything and that made changes I requested get done painlessly. I worry that perhaps you work yourself too hard and too fast xD but everyone does work differently so if it works for you then keep at it. Just keep up the great comms even if it's just to say you're running late for whatever reason!
3. Absolutely worth it. Like I mentioned, could consider raising prices if commissions are piling up, but as a customer I'm very happy.
4. Absolutely recommend. You're also very fun to talk to besides being very professional ^^
Thanks for your work Scraps 🧡☺️
