What does Christmas mean to you? ^^

How do you celebrate Christmas or is it something that you don't celebrate? Do you see it as either the time of the year for just presents and chocolate, a time to cuddle up with a loved one, time with family, time off work, religious reasons or something else?
I prefer seeing the ones I care about be happy.
Still put the paper chain on the tree that I made in the 70's.
Listing to Christmas music, and remembering the good old days with my family.
Abd of course comes the gifts food etc
I love crimus so much
The decorations music movies etc
I stopped celebrating it when I moved out of my moms place about 2014.
A lot of my family disowned me, besides my siblings, grandmother and mom. So, we just have a small get together at my mothers each year Christmas eve. To them, it's special. But, to me. It's just a constant reminder on how broken our family because after the passing of my grandfather.
Mostly though Halloween is my big Holiday but when Christmas comes along I like to listen to the Vince Guaraldi trio and things like Bob & Doug Mackenzie's 12 days of Christmas. I like the humorous stuff-Bob Rivers Santa Claus done to the tune of Black Sabbath's Iron Man is a classic. We have a tree (yay Pagan rituals! lol) and open presents and basically celebrate in a secular commercial way that just happens to involve cherishing friendship and kindness.
Oh and the ORIGINAL Grinch Who Stole Christmas. I ALWAYS watch that. You know-now that I think of it despite my not being religious that stuff Linus says in his speech in the Christmas special? I agree with it 100%. You don't have to be religious to accept that goodwill and peaceful intent between humans is something we should all believe in and practice.
