Terms of Service for Commissioning
Terms of Service:
1) I will refuse any commission, or add details on said commission that I am not comfortable working on. This is not up for discussion.
2) Payment: I will begin work after payment has been received. Keep in mind, there could be a queue.
3) Complexity Character Design: If the character I'm drawing has a complex design and/or color pattern, I will charge an extra $10. Please make sure to provide good references, preferably a reference sheet of a 3 to 4 pose turnaround.
4) Commitment: Before commissioning, please make sure that you are ready to pay for the work. Do NOT talk like you're going to hire them, only to pull out at the last second.
5) Clarity: Please be as clear but concise as possible when giving me details.
6) Fix-ups/nit-picks: I will allow for two to three minor adjustments to be made. Afterward, I have to charge for the extra work.
7) Adjustments: If we miss important details, let me know in the sketch stage before we move on to inks/colors. (I refer you to Rule # 6).
8) Commitment (part 2): If I'm streaming your piece, I need you to be there when I'm drawing it.
9) Comics: I do not draw comic page commissions, but I can do image sequences, which can be two or more separate commissions.
10) Split pay commissions between two or more people: No.
11) Other peoples' characters: If you would like to commission someone else's character, you will get permission from said character's owner before I agree.
12) I will not tolerate rudeness or abuse of any sort. Likewise, I will go out of my way to be as respectful to those who commission me.
13) Email Handles (due to recent events): If I receive an email/FA Note/Twitter Notes from a handle with nonsensical jumble of letters and numbers I'm going to turn you down. I don't think I need to explain why this is.
14) The TOS Rules are subject to change.
