Life update
Posted 6 months agoSo it's been a long while since I've posted one of these but some major changes have happened:
Biggest thing is I walked from the railroad. After dealing with shortstaffed stuff for a year, the past few weeks I was at my breaking point until November 2nd, when I walked off. For right now, doing some side jobs and such, but I feel better. When it got to the point I could take care of myself is where I drew a line especially since I was losing sleep and looked half dead the morning after I walked out. Regardless, I'm glad I did. Already have a few job offers....
As for the characters, they will be getting a major makeover. Both Yarddog and Sakoi will be getting updated ref sheets with the following forms: femboy normal/femboy hyper and bimbo normal/bimbo hyper. Something I've been considering that I want to make a permanent change.

Know your worth.
Posted a year agoThe past year at my job I've been trying to become a carman. That's gone nowhere. I've tried to become the radio tech for our railroad. That went nowhere as I was told I needed some BS college degree to get that job despite everyone knowing ive self taught myself radio stuff. Basically I'm stuck a coach cleaner at this time and I'm honestly sick of it.
I probably know way more than the guy who has that radio job and I've been told that by several departments. Even some of mangement is surprised, I've been working with radios since i was 16. Considering I do nothing but mess with radios on my free time, from hex editing software to having major changes made internally to parts(some of this part I can't do because some meds I'm on make my hands shake slightly enough I can't solder). So at this time I've applied elsewhere because I finally realized I'm worth more than what this company values me.
I know someone particular in management(Chief Mechanical Officer to be exact) doesn't like me also so I'm hoping this job with Amtrak works because I'm tired of being held back. The plan is to work my way up and either become either a radio tech or journeymen electrician and relocate out of the Chicago area once my grandparents are gone.
Artists and everyone else in between. Know your worth. Don't let people or management hold you back. Know your worth like I have realized what I'm worth.

Massive update incoming
Posted a year agoGood morning fuzzies or where ever you live. I recently was able to bring one of my old laptop HDD's back to life and in the process discovered a treasure trove of old photos I have taken, you also guessed it mainly railroad stuff. Most of these have never been released or viewed by anyone but me, hell they have never even made it to my Facebook. So within the next few days expect a massive photo dump to occur.
I also should say I have applied with another railroad but its been two months. Hoping i hear something soon because I could use a pay increase
anyway Yarddog is out for now

Where have you been?
Posted a year agoBeen a busy year with Double Track projects and another rail branch being built.
I have a saying now. If you can survive 8 months in Gary through April 2023 you can make it anywhere.
That is all.

2019 update
Posted 5 years ago2019 is off to a "great" start. One friend of mine who is like a brother to me has been given a month to live, one had a stroke, and Saturday on the way to the museum my truck decided to kill the alternator, which was fine as there were guys up there that were able to help me replace it. 3 hours later, a trip to NAPA in North Judson and then a trip to Knox to pick up the new one, we had the new one dropped in. Truck ran great for the day until I went home. Halfway between Lacrosse and Westville, the CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM message was thrown at me again and I was able to limp to Westville, where its still sitting(two friends who were following me gave me a ride home). In all, that new alternator didn't even have 20 miles on it
As for my friend, we were on the way back from Iowa 80 when my buddy got a call about Bryon, he told me to pull over when he got off the phone and proceeded to tell me that doctors gave him a month to live. From what I understood he has some sort of cancer, the type i'm not sure of. After I dropped everyone off I had a breakdown in my truck in front of the house.
As for the other friend, he had a stroke and is doing better and that's all I know. Thankfully there was no paralysis.
So far everything's been so great.

About me
Posted 5 years agoSeeing as I've been on this site for awhile I'd figure I'd introduce myself more that what it seems like.
I go by Yarddog because of the intermodal yard I worked at last year. My species is a wolf, however I have a second fursona I am working on that is based off my CB handle Moondog(Yeah, I'm old school and still use CB). I enjoy working with radios(Ham call is KD9GLW and CB handle is Moondog since I drive at night. That hobby is my drug considering I have $2k worth of radios), photography, working on computers to an extent, and working on my truck(to an extent, I hate electrical and heavy repairs it goes to a shop or on the lift at work). I'm kinda shy with everyone since I feel everyone is super judgmental of me, no matter who it is. I've had people judge me over my job path as it is, I wanna work in an industrial setting such as a steel mill. Don't ask about my family please, my grandparents, my great grandmother, and my dad are the only people I really consider my family. I never really had a lot of friends due to my hobbies. Somehow I stumbled across this fandom in 2015, 2017 I got fully involved in it. I'm still trying to figure out how to tell my grandparents about the fandom.
If its anything I've self taught myself, its how to work electrical(which I hate with a passion) in my truck and installing as many radios possible in tight spaces. Worst thing that happened was I fried a 75 dollar switchbox that I dumped $50 worth of new switches and lightbulbs into, I had one wire wired wrong and my bright idea was bypass the fuses that would have protected it from frying, flipped the certain switch and poof there was the smoke. I nearly burned down the garage and my grandmas car(my grandpas truck was up front because of the work I was doing).
I'm an easy going person, if you need anything ask, I'm supportive of just about anything(the items I'm not are very offensive things). I'm all for the LGBT community, I have a younger brother who came out as bi and I am very supportive of him. Basically, I believe in do what makes you happy because I do the same.
Not much more to write here at this point. If you have questions, just ask away.
