Opening commissions because Cancer; Unable to work...
Posted 4 years ago***READ EVERYTHING IN THE POST BELOW BEFORE COMMISSIONING!***
Long story short, I've been dealing with cancer for a few months and have been managing the cancer treatment (chemotherapy via pills: Xilota) but recently I'm suffering from side effects and unable to work, causing my already lowered income from work to become non-existent due to pure inability to work. Mainly because I have to stand on my feet majority of the time which makes my feet feel like hot iron nails poking into the soles of my feet every step I take... You don't want to see the pictures of the hyper-pigmentation and skin cracking and peeling on them but I must digress.
Due to my inability to work I have to open commissions so if anyone would like art to help me with the lack of money, I'm devoting time to it due to these circumstances. Because right now I would rather not stand on my feet all day for 9 an hour which honestly is terrible but I also have been unable to get a new job in order to get paid more due to my cancer treatment...
The rates, are going to be 7$ for each step meaning;
Sketches for a character is $7, +7 for flat/simple colors, and +7 for inking, +7 shading. And +5 for each level to add a character, up to 2 additional characters. Prices may change due to complexity of characters. Backgrounds go for 10 for each stage. However, for simpler ones it would be only 5 or 3 each stage. Any questions that you have, please, feel free to ask.
A price point will be set during an initial discussion about it for clarification before I begin and any art that is inconsistent/changing will charge you more for inconvenience if I must keep changing elements which is using my time up further. I will highly recommend knowing exactly what you want completely and have the information ready in a paragraph or two for time and clarity's sake if you wish to avoid this problem.
Additionally, the way I will do this is by showing each stage to you and each character (or the background) to make sure it is how you prefer it before moving on. DO NOT BE AFRAID TO BE SPECIFIC! Unless you are giving me freedom of expression. Otherwise you could also do a Wing-it for a 15% discount. That said, Wing-its will NOT be able to be changed unless a physical detail about a character is wrong, but will still have stage checks by the commissioner. If you change your mind to stop any commission, up to the stage done will be the bottom line for payment. NO NON-LIFE-THREATENING EXCEPTIONS.

Posted 6 years agoThis is for anyone that notices these things and can give advice.
Advice for being a better artist if you want to tell me what I do wrong or right.
I know having it as a journal is dumb but might as well try.
After all, it's not stupid if it works.
And everything is stupid if you don't try for it to work anyway because by default it doesn't work.

It makes me so angry that when i do art, I want to make it amazing... I see that in my past art but I'm trying to learn how to make art again through a drawing tablet...
Maybe I'm in a bit too fast. I need some time to practice and calm down about being stressed for the best image... I can do it if I just relax... Focus on what I want to accomplish and how... and say fuck all to this feeling of not being adequate to draw anything. The recent submission, Will, is the first. The next will be Inferiority.

New times.
Posted 9 years agoI won't bore you with everything going on in my life, as much of it is longwinded and can be put in a simple sentence: I struggle with the waiting for a better future from a bitter past.
But yeah, I appreciate everything the good lord has provided for me and the people I am around and the oppurtunities I've had, as well as the seldom luxuries. Bless all of you.
New computer, new tablet, new drawing software, new options.
I'll see how I manage myself with this change of what I can do in some cases.
The new abilities, and teh new temptations...
Temptations being more based on laziness rather than fapping to art. XD
Either way, I'm on my way from misery to happiness today~
Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh!
