~A.J.Riller
This is more than a Character but less than a 'sona. Trying to make a couple of friends and trying to learn how to actually talk to people but so far I've been too shy to approach anyone. Also likely looking to someone to help with custom character design for a full ref sheet.

Class: Draconia
Order: Mundania
Family: Fabula
Genus: Fae
Species: Instrumentum Draco
Age: 29
Birthday: 3/14
Rank (Official): Technician 2nd Class - Engineering Speciality
Rank (Honorary): Colonel
Distinctions: BSc, SSc.
Height: 1.3m sitting
Length: 2m
Coloration: TBD
Personality:
Normally introverted and a bit shy but can be very confident when in her element. Very detail oriented while working. Applied Engineering Specialty. Can be considered rude, especially by coworkers, but is just blunt with limited social experience. Extremely curious, trying to learn everything she can.
Brief History:
Born as the last hatched sibling from a large brood. Parents were extremely busy and rarely seen. Mother was an ambassador to a neighboring power and father was a high ranking administrator in her nation. The oldest hatchlings from a prior brood were the only ones that spent significant time with her parents.
Extremely strong (and informal) education in engineering and electronics. Several notable breakthroughs credited to her experimentation and theorization. Asked to be part of the engineering crew on massive extrasolar project using her designs.

I've put this off for too long now. I was told (ordered really) to try this ages ago but I struggled to do so. I simply had no idea how or where to start. I've spent weeks searching through our entire databank and I can't find a single reference to this program anywhere. It's not categorized as entertainment, simulation, A.I. Interaction or any subcategory I could think of. I'd say it doesn't exist except that it's right here on my terminal. That shouldn't be too surprising, however. My own project doesn't exist in the systems either, at least for this first journey or two.
All medical left me with was to treat everything here as if it was a truthful interaction with another living, breathing creature. That what I need most is practice interacting with others in a non-work related environment, one which I could step away from and disengage from at any time if I felt too overwhelmed that wouldn't degrade my performance with my team. It's supposed to teach me how to build friendships or something like that.
I suspect that medical combed through my file very carefully when Fung Kun came aboard. I'm one of the few oddities aboard this vessel and I'm aware that I'm considered to be socially inept. While Fung seems to be well qualified for his role here I find I can't really open up to him in private sessions. He's as extroverted as I am introverted, he makes friends as easy as if it was an essential process like breathing. But I don't think he has access to what I'm doing in here. I probed the code and found nothing conclusive, so I chased down the couple hardware linkages I noticed being accessed. They all lead to one of the spare QECs (A senary backup at that!) that is inexplicably online and somehow not drawing any power...
So whatever this is, it's out of my league currently. I have a feeling pursuing that just yet is going to be off limits.
I guess I'm supposed to talk about myself a bit, see if I can open up even if not with the rest of the crew just yet. So Hi, I'm Riller. Technician 2nd Class aboard this vessel on a colonization mission of extreme importance. We've been underway for several months at this point with no notable deviations from our initial mission parameters, at least officially. I've long suspected there to be another game afoot but I haven't found any proof yet besides several errors in schemata I've worked with.
Guess I should stay on topic however. I was last hatched among a large brood in a small vassal state to a larger empire. Mother was away more often than not as an ambassador and father was one of the chief administrators over our people. This meant that we were mostly raised by our elder siblings. My older sibling Amethyst was my keeper as far back as I can remember. By the time I was fully self aware he was one of the senior students at the Institute of Applied Sciences, our little nation's biggest pride. Oh I got into so much trouble every time I'd sneak into his room to tinker with all the little inventions and gadgets he'd have around. He'd scold me good and proper for it but I never let that stop me.
Eventually he gave in and took me under his wing, teaching me everything he knew. By the time my formal education was supposed to begin I was bored to tears in a fortnight. I refused to go back. Instead I ended up taking private lessons from an old friend of the family and soon most of my siblings joined me. Most of my day was taken up with my brother and upon his graduation I was officially inducted into the Institute as his apprentice.
And I just realized the time, my next shift starts soon. This was easier than I thought it would be. Then again, this is only the preparation for what's supposed to come next. Guess we will see just where this leads.

"Is that supposed to make me FEEL better? If you lost a puppy and I said 'Well we still have a big chunk of it' Would that make you feel better?!?"
