Personal Info:
Name/Handle: Nicole "AnimeCat" Holland, Call me either AnimeCat or AC, please.
Experience: I've been an artist for over 30 years, studied art at Armstrong Atlantic State University and University of Arkansas at Little Rock. I specialize in fantasy and anthropomorphic artwork and wildlife. Most of the techniques I use are self-taught.
Media Preference: Mixed. Much of my work is digitally created, though I still dabble in real media from time to time, mostly watercolor. I also do a lot of craft work, including plush toys.
Personal Info: I'm a sucker for cats, corgis, and Disney fanart. I'm a hopeless romantic, and have been happily married to for the last 13 years. My hopeless romanticism is matched by my adorably geeky husband, who only feeds my love for animated films and puppetry. I’m mom to both 2-legged and 4-legged kids, all of which have my heart.
Business Info: I am also the artist and founder of Studio Neko-Neko, my personal business where I take my art and handmade crafts to various conventions. We currently attend conventions around the Mid-South and Southern US but we are always looking to expand our convention circuit! While not at conventions, you can find peeks at my work at the Studio Neko-Neko Instagram: www.instagram.com/studionekoneko

Slow as Molasses
I’d just like to state for the record that when it comes to getting ANYTHING done, I am slower than frozen honey, y’all.
I have 3 jobs I’m working currently:
1. MOM - which includes keeping a small person alive and healthy and maintaining the household for said small person as well as my own and my husband’s needs. This of all things keeps me INSANELY busy, and I have maybe 3-4 hours in a day to myself. There are just not enough hours to do what needs doing.
2. Studio Work - Convention prep takes priority after the child, as this is where I make the majority of my money. Commissions are completed in between convention work. Most studio work takes place in the 2 hour window that is my baby’s naptime or the hour or two after dinner when baby goes to bed.
3. Baseball - I am the senior mascot coordinator for one of the Seattle Mariner’s farm teams. It’s my job to work baseball games, keep our mascots on schedule, assist in day-to-day operations, keep the costumes clean, maintain our locker room, do repairs as needed, etc. Even once baseball season has ended, I still have things to do. We have off-season appearances, holiday parades, and prep for the next season’s promotions and schedules.
Those are the reasons it takes me FOR FREAKIN’ EVER to get anything outside these tasks done in a timely manner. Many days, I am just exhausted. I just wanted folks to know that I’m not ignoring them or the work they’ve paid me for- I’m just very VERY busy! And having ADHD makes it easy for to forget tasks that are not immediately in front of me.
I greatly appreciate all the patience my clients have with me, truly, it means so much to me. Thank you for giving me the time and space needed to work things out at my own pace instead of risking burnout.
