I am not really a furry, but I am a fan of some furry artist here. Especially Leo_Magna . I'm since 2005 the webhamster of his website www.liondogworks.com , hence I am an Hamster, just for the sake of the pun !
I'm also the first translator of fur-piled, working on the french version.
I'm a stand up comedian living in Paris. You could see me on www.arthurrainbow.fr

Description of my fursona
I'm creating my fursona.
It's a butterfly.
It has two antennas, as any butterfly. The one that is the further away from the viewer/camera has a mini hat (so the hat teleport when the character moves). See for example those mini hats. The goal is not to copy any of those hats, but to give a feeling of the very busy and small hats.
The decoration of the hats vary.
To start, I'll take many little flowers at the bottom of the hat, of the colors of the original pride flags, on the hat, and black feathers on top of it.
The proboscis is purple. It can be blowed like a birthday trumpet.
There are earrings where they would be ear for a standard earred furry. On the right side, there is two small chromium rings and a charm. The charm varies. As a default, it can be a small cup of tea.
On the left side, there is a chromium spreader.
The head and the body are yellow/orange as this butterfly. They are quite small compared to the wings.
The head is entirely yellow. Most of the boddy is of a bright orange. There is a slight gradient between them at the level of the neck.
The character stands on his two paws like a human.
The two legs are white, as this butterfly. And very thins, are on butterfly.
At the end of those two legs, there are two slippers that are similar to cap paws. Similar to those paws. They are slippers, the actual paws are hidden.
The abdomen is smaller than usual butterfly abdomen. This way, the bottom paws (legs) are longer than the abdomen. The abdomen can be used as a third leg, like a kangaroo tail.
At the end of the abdomen, there is a titanium ring piercing. Below the ring, on the bottom side of the abdomen, there is a sequence of 8 straight barbell, whose colors are the original pride flag.
The wings are the most important part of the design. As they are the most expressive and can change from time to time to reflect change in the character.
Here is an example of wings+paws. Except that there would be two wings, and thus two paws on each side. Both wings are quite distinct. You usually can't see between the wings, as the bottom of the top wings is slightly below the top of the bottom wing. The bottom wing is in front of the top wing (that is, on the side of the fursona's face).
The wings is composed of many cells. Each cells are separated by black lines with some width. Each cell's color is independant. Some cell may have a single color. Or they may have one main color, and, at some end of the cell, usually on the part far from the body, there is some gradient to some other color. In any case, it should be clear that two adjacent cells don't influence each other. When the cells have two colors or a gradient, there is no clear line that goes through many cells.
The paws have opposable thumbs, kind of like bat feet.
The bottom wings lay between the legs and the abdomen. They are attached to the body from the neck to the top of the abdomen. The bottom of the wings almost touch the floor when the fursona stand up. That is, the wings are very big compared to the remaining of the fursona itself.
They are on both sides are almost (but not perfectly) symmetric. The top and bottom wing are similar. In the sense that the top wing has a clear pattern, and the bottom ones have a fuzzy version of the pattern. For example if the top wings are the rainbow flags, then the top wings has mostly straight lines and the bottom wings have spirals and the colors merge. Here is an example of spiral I drew. (That will be the color choice for the original commission)
The pattern varies a lot. They are like dyed hairs. It takes time and effort to change, so it's not done often. The same patterns can come back or there can be seen only during a month and then never more.
It's a butterfly.
