Whack 'Em Smack 'Em Byrons
Someone else was telling me, "Well, if you can't post artwork on FurAffinity, you could just take your creative work in a new direction." It struck me as a slightly glib assessment from someone who can still post artwork on FurAffinity, but okay, sure. Let's explore that.
Byron makes his ColecoVision and SG-1000 debut in Whack 'Em Smack 'Em Byrons, a brand spankin' new whack-a-mole game designed for incredibly ancient video game technology. Fun fact! As the SG-1000 is a clone/hardware lift of the ColecoVision, that makes the Master System a SUPER ColecoVision. Heck, someone is making a ColecoVision cartridge adapter for the Master System. That's how close these machines are. It's like how the 3DS can natively play Game Boy Advance games.
Anyway. Play up, it's free. I'd recommend GearColeco for the ColecoVision version and Steve Snake's KEGA Fusion for the SG-1000 version. Do note the intro added to the SG-1000 version. Also, there's no sound, so if you know anyone who can wrangle good music out of a sound chip in its early forties, hook me up.

The coins are a fun thing to tinker around with. I might have to do more of that tomorrow.
