I came here to make friends, network with other artists, and provide feedback to people who share my appreciation for anthropomorphism. Art is a very small factor when it comes to the people I watch; I usually will watch people who I think I could potentially spark some sort of friendship with and perhaps communicate with on a regular basis.
I adore anthropomorphic reptiles and insects--usually the more uncommon species. I find it fascinating when people are able to take such a distinctly non-human form and turn into something genuinely appealing. It requires so much more creativity than simply drawing the exact same anthropomorphic fox in a provocative pose over, and over... and over again. In regards to other interests, I enjoy playing video games (namely Nintendo titles) as well as designing them, making music, studying animation and directing, and learning about business management. Oh, I also enjoy voice acting as well; so, if you have an animation project or something that needs voices, let me know about it so I can check it out.

The cars were... talking.
Seemed like there were a lot of car commercials during the Super Bowl with sentient cars doing things. That in itself was cool, but then cars.com whips out this commercial with talking cars--talking cars making suggestive jokes, no less. Is it weird to say that this was my favorite ad during the Super Bowl? I was enamored. Really.
It probably had something to do with the way they chose to animate the cars; they actually used the face of the cars' models with no embellished cartoon features. That's one of the issues I've always had with the cars in Pixar's movie--the faces were too human. I also didn't like the fact that they used the windshields for their eyes. Cosmetically, I think the way the cars were animated in this ad was perfect.
I was surprised that I hadn't seen a car commercial like this before, what with the use of CGI animation being as refined as it is these days. Seriously, have an animated black Lexus voiced by Cree Summer telling me about her features and I'd be listening (Yeah, I walk around thinking about these things). Though, they've probably been so reluctant to do this type of commercial because they didn't want freaks like me to be turned on. Anyway, I guess somewhat seeing my idea realized is what made this so impacting.
Yeah, I know people are going to favor the Volkswagen commercial with the kid in the Darth Vader costume; I admit, I liked that commercial myself. However, I also have to admit that this year was a pretty dry year for good commercials. Bleh.
