I'm always bad at these things! I'm a 40 y/o software programmer, Linux administrator and website developer that's been in furry since 2001 and been fursuiting since pretty early on... when I decide to actually wear it. If you're curious about my interests, you can probably tell what they are from my own uploads as well as my faves.

Life and character updates
Hey everyone! It's been a little while and I wanted to fill in folks on a couple of things, especially seeing that the most recent journal post is way out of date news.
First, the original reason I came to the site and the original purpose of this journal: The character update. In the past couple of years, I have been identifying as non-binary. I've never exactly felt like "one of the guys", but while female pronouns and appearance wasn't bad, that didn't feel like the exact right fit either. Looking back at almost all of my art, unless there was something involving chastity, the art of my character tended to be a "smooth" toony look. I also have had interest in blurring the lines of gender.
With all of that being said, I have decided that it made the most sense to declare my character Non-Binary, and have updated the art entries accordingly. You can honestly use any pronouns you want for me, as long as you don't explicitly correct someone to use he/him. If you want to continue to use he/him, that's fine. But that is not the only correct answer.
As for life updates, let's talk about that job I got after I became unemployed. Or perhaps let's NOT talk about it. It was the worst employer I've ever worked for. Over worked, bad practices, dealing with an EXTREMELY micromanaging senior member of personnel, and didn't understand how to explain what they wanted done for the business. I quit that place after approximately 1 month of work.
I was unemployed for 4 months and started a new job last March. This place is the polar opposite. They care about employees, have good practices, and respected me as well. I felt I was treated well enough that I actually put in more effort in some places where I was not being asked to help but knew it would be helpful. So because of things like that and being able to communicate with others clearly within the organization...
I got a promotion! I am now a "team lead" which is a managerial position. It's been different than any other job I've had, but so far I've been handling it well.
On an unrelated note, my polycule has grown in size in the past few years. And I love all of my partners very dearly.
