The return? (Maybe.)
8 months agoHey all, here to provide an update from my last journal.
After getting some generous contributions and some saving on my own part, I was able to purchase a new tablet (And an extra cable for it, because you never know...). I'm happy and eternally grateful to everyone that supported me. Although I wish I could jump right into giant illustrations of my own characters again, I've still been struggling creatively, though I still want to be less inactive on my accounts.
In short, I find myself compelled to have my own online presence again, so I've thought of posting on twitter and streaming regularly. Truthfully, I've struggled with having a personality here outside of opening commissions. I've spent most of my time posting about my other interests on alts in fear of annoying any current audience I have, but in turn I completely dumped the furry fandom despite me still very much being a furry. But, that's just the way I am, I get fixated on other things and get tunnel vision. So I'm gonna try to compromise for the first time in a while, and just exist. I haven't been active in so long that I guess there's nothing to lose, right?
Currently I'm really into Gacha games, notably the big 3 of Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, and ZZZ. Not saying I'm gonna make posts about it here obviously, but more specifically I'll stream those games sometimes or post fanart on twitter (or here if it's good enough, lol). That's the point I want to get to, anyways. Just allowing myself to do my own thing and enjoy making art again.
It won't be an overnight change, and nothing I do on fA will change whatsoever outside of stream posts and very scarce fanart posting. But I thought it would be appropriate to give everyone a heads up. I'll still be preoccupied with obligations from my own life, but once I get the hang of things, I would really benefit from everyone's support, I think. Getting out of one's comfort zone is often a way to improve, so, I'm willing to try.
