March Update, heh
I've been busy lately. From work. But I thought I'd give a little run-down of current projects:
Hold Holden Up Comic - I've completed the layout for 9 pages of the comic. By layout I mean I've compiled and arranged the rendered images into a comic book page, that I feel conveys the story I want. I'm pretty sure all of the images I need have been rendere. But, I still haven't added dialog or special FX, though.
The Inquisitor Armor - I'm done with the mesh, but am currently attempting to finish creating the bones for the front and back skirt parts of the talbard piece. Once I'm done with that I'm hoping to get into coloring the armor and fixing it to fit Celeste and Nat. Then I could some renders done and maybe figure if I want to do a comic or animated short with them.
Hardware upgrade - I've been working with nvidia 2070 just fine for a number of years, but I'm thinking more and more about upgrading in the hopes that it would reduce the time it takes to render. I also suspect that age may have cause it to slow down, but I'm unsure.
Zander, Hannah, and Matt Revisions - I've revisited and reworked Zander's texture maps. I've also finally created Sentinal, his reptilian rival. I'm currently working on Hannah's maps. I'm also planning on revising Matt's maps. I would also like to create Sara "Spades" Towers, Hannah's sister and rival. As well as one more to kind of round out the three villains with three heroes dynamic.
Fur Pattern Tutorial - A fellow artist kindly asked me how I went about creating patterns on some of my 3D anthro characters. That got the gears in my mind turning. So, I tried to answer with a comment response. Upon finishing it I realized I was missing a LOT of key details. So, I decided to take the time to attempt to actually document the process of creating those patterns. Boy, I had no idea just how much time it would take. So I've got about 14 pages in the current incomplete first draft. I intend to trim it to keep it as short as possible. But I also need to revise it. And, bring it to someone to look over check for errors and readability, etc. But it's going to take awhile before it's in a good place.
