Updated the Studio

Hello everyone,
Times are hard for me. I was working hard in school and really putting my all into designing my first show solo from the ground up.
...It got canceled...
...Honestly, this was a blessing and a wake-up call. I know I could be successful as a lighting designer, but after watching all of my friends loose their jobs practically overnight I had an existential crisis. Theatre will bounce back S L O W L Y, but what was my awakening moment was the fact that I still had options. So one decision later and the studio underwent a slight upgrade. No more 5 year old Yeti Microphone. Welcome Focusrite Scarlet Solo Studio!
Okay I can see the audio people rolling their eyes back there. Hush up and let me tell you why I went with this and not some fancy $1,000 setup. I went with this particular audio package because for audiobooks I need a total of one microphone. I don't have to record a band or anything crazy. It also had to be simple. All my work goes in to post production. I don't need to EQ before I EQ again. :P This means I can upgrade to more professional mics, but the included mic actually suits my voice better than the Yeti.
I am still busy with writing two research papers at the moment, but I will be working hard over the next eight to nine weeks on improving my visibility in the community.
