I'm just an old and proud former US Navy EW1(SW/IW) (Electronic Warfare Technician Petty Officer First Class) currently living in the grand city of Pensacola Florida.
I had a rather fun and fulfilling career in the military and it definitely set me up with some great skills and credentials for later in life, but when the time came I
happily took advantage of the opportunities that life set in front of me and transitioned back to civilian life.
These days, I'm just a grumpy old government GS-12 working as an instructor teaching Navy CTMs (Cryptologic Technician Maintenance) the wonders of electronic
theory and basic electronics maintenance and repair. Most of whom are fresh out of high school and bootcamp and were raised on Twitter and TikTok.. Stars help me..
"If life gives you lemons, squeeze the juice into it's gouged out eye sockets." - Me
I'm certainly no artist but I enjoy appreciating the skill that so many others possess with it.
Mostly, I just lurk around and occasionally throw money at people to draw stuff for me.
Active hobbies/enjoyable activities:
Sharpshooting, gunsmithing, metalworking, tinkering, Guiness and other good beer (most American beers are automatically ruled out by this), Mead and other fine
wines and liquors, reading, PC gaming, D&D 3E-3.5E, building PCs, lots of red meat, spending time with good friends and family, living with my cats, and
knowing too much random trivia and history for my own good.
I'm an avid PC gamer (PC MASTER RACE!); if I had to list my top 3 favorite games right now, they would be:
-Elite:Dangerous
-Cyberpunk 2077
-World Of Tanks
Some of my other faves are XCOM, Assassin's Creed (Ezio is best assassin!), Skyrim, and Fallout 4, but there are lots of games that keep my interest (current count in my Steam library is 214 games as of 3-10-21).
As far as the Warcraft franchise, I remember nabbing the first Warcraft game and getting hooked. From there, I delved into the world of Azeroth and through Warcraft 2,
Warcraft 3, and World of Warcraft, I had a blast. For WoW, I used to be an avid player. I started when it first came out as a Beast Mastery Hunter, back when hunters
used an entire bag for nothing but food for their pets and another two bags for nothing but ammo, and a fourth one bag for healthstones, buff food, potions, and
companion pets and mounts (Pets and mounts took up bag space back then!). That left us with just one stinking bag for loot.
Over the years, I joined a semi-pro raiding guild during Wrath of the Lich King and overall had tons of fun. But eventually, things changed. Blizzard changed. In 2019, everything changed
with my relationship with WoW and Blizzard with their policies, views, and actions.
Today's Blizzard isn't the Blizzard that I grew up with, that gamers grew up with and loved. So my relationship with Blizzard is no more. I'll just be happy to remember the good old days
and think that my WoW characters got tired of the endless war, the battles, the killing. They all left their homelands and their factions for faraway lands. Maybe they even somehow met
up with one another and made their own little community where they could all forget about their past lives and simply live in peace.
Okay, I'll admit, Blizzard fixed themselves a lot. At least as far as the story for Warcraft. And here I am playing WoW again. Of course they had to make playable f*&#ing dragons... I just barely
managed to say 'No' to the new cat mounts, so they pull out the big guns and make playable F*&#ING DRAGONS... *siiiiiiigh*
Also, I'm a brony. Don't know what a brony is? Try Google. Don't like bronies or MLP:FIM? I don't care, that's your choice. Just don't spout your hate and discontent at me about it.

These are my characters. I have spent years in the creation of their designs (with the exceptions of Natasha and Xanatos, they were adopts) and developing every aspect of their personalities, as well as many aspects of the world that they all live in. Needless to say, I wouldn't appreciate someone trying to claim any of my characters as their own. Don't RP as any of my characters, don't claim to own any of my characters or the artwork. It's simple.
I don't RP anywhere as anyone.

I believe in SCIENCE. I believe in the physical, what I can hold in my hands, what can be proven through research, not hocus-pocus. A phrase that many people use that just utterly pisses me off is "You just have to have faith".
However, with that being said, there are questions that simply can't be answered by science (currently). What truly created the universe? And I don't mean the big bang that was the beginning of the universe as we know (as far as we know, at least). What created the big bang? Is our universe just one of countless bubble universes? Was the big bang actually a white hole (the other end of a black hole), or was it something else? And what created whatever was before that? And before that? And even before that? What is the source? What is the true, absolute beginning point and what created it? The math of the universe is sometimes too absolutely perfect to simply be chance. So there has to be *something*, some higher force at work. But can we understand it? Are we even meant to understand or even comprehend it? Doubtful.
That being said, I do NOT believe in some "benevolent all-loving God". Not with the shit that happens in the day-to-day of this world, nevermind the last couple hundred years. That's nothing more than a load of bull for collecting either cult members or money. Organized religion is one of the worst things to have happened throughout history; more cruelty, torture, and murder can be attributed to organized religion than all the wars throughout history combined.

Advanced cybernetics in my stories
I've had a couple of people ask me questions about the cybernetics tech that is used by many of my characters, including Natasha and her various cybernetics, so I figured I may as well expound on them here for the sake of clarity. For the sake of simplicity, the artificial muscles and skeletal systems I talk about here are pretty standard for all of the cybernetics, from the prosthetics that Natasha uses and even the complete cybernetic bodies used by Tobias and many of my other characters. Here, I'll just talk about Natasha's cybernetic prosthetic legs.
Natasha uses two main types of cybernetic prosthetics for her legs; a pair of "standard" legs and a quadrupedal "taur"-style body.
The standard legs are constructed similarly to normal, organic, biological legs; the "bones" are a titanium alloy that is both lightweight and very strong, while the "muscles" are artificial muscle made of an ionic electroactive polymer consisting of high density carbon nanotubes. The legs are covered with an artificial skin and fur and are powered by a cluster of advanced rechargeable lithium-ion microbatteries that are stored in the thigh of each leg. These legs also utilize a special type of blue-tinted gel filled with nanites that constantly repair the artificial muscle fibers. This gel acts as a sort of blood for the legs. These standard legs give Natasha enough strength to leg-press over 6,000 lbs (3 tons) and run at over 70 miles per hour.
The quadrupedal "taur"-style body is constructed a bit differently than Natasha's normal cybernetic legs. The taur body utilizes the same internal skeleton and artificial muscles as the standard legs, but also utilizes exoskeleton-like outer plating as well as additional mechanical actuators such as electro-hydrostatic actuators (EHAs) for added strength. While slower than the much faster artificial fiber muscles, the EHAs provide exceptional power. For example, while the artificial muscles make the body very fast and nimble, the slower-moving EHAs allow the body to be able to lift and move loads of over 20,000 lbs (10 tons) or exert the same amount of weight per square inch in crushing power, though not very quickly. The EHAs can also operate completely independently from the artificial fiber muscles, meaning that Natasha can move at the taur-body's full speed allowed by the artificial muscles while not being hindered by the slower EHAs.
Similar to Natasha's standard legs, the taur-body is powered by microbatteries, but only as a secondary power source. The primary power source for the taur-body is a miniature multi-isotope radio-decay fusion energy cell that utilizes a new element that Tobias himself researched and developed. The energy cell is circular in shape and roughly the size of an orange. Utilizing multiple isotopes of an element, this energy cell uses the ions created from one isotope through beta decay as an electron source for the energy collection from the method known as electron capture of a different isotope of the same element to create an electric circuit between the two different radioactive isotopes.
Basically, this is how the fusion cell works: The energy cell makes use of an APT (aeterpotentium, the element Tobias created) element core. To simplify the process, electrons project outward from the inner core, and gamma rays project inward from the outer ring of the fusion cell. Because this electron/photon counter flow creates a deficit of electrons relative to protons in the core, a massive electrostatic potential is developed and the APT core attracts lower-energy electrons from my body's wiring. The ejection of electrons from the APT core towards the rim of the fusion cell produces an electrical cell capable of generating enormous voltage and current.
Yes, this sounds super-sciency and rife with science-fiction nonsense. However, I actually spent dozens of hours in my free time researching nuclear physics and fusion so that I could create the most real-world-based technology that I could, as well as dozens more hours researching everything that I could find on artificial muscles and metallurgy when designing the full cybernetic bodies. If you want an example of what the fusion cell is based on, look up Tokamak Reactors.
I actually based these artificial muscles on real-world carbon nanotube artificial muscles created by Dr Ray Baughman and his team at the NanoTech Institute at the University of Texas, VERY interesting stuff.
