Page one of a comic about my beloved late dog, Wolfy! I've always wanted to create a comic about my dog, to tell his story to people who didn't know him. This comic is a collection of true stories which occured during the time I was growing up in the Rocky Mountains. The location, house, people, and animals are all also out of my childhood, so I tried to draw them as accurately as I could (with the exception of small changes or exaggerations for artistic quality). =3
I did this project for a children's book class, completing four color pages and 9 inked pages. These first four pages are a brief intro into the setting and feel for the comic. I am going to try to complete the other nine pages of the first short story, and upload them gradually for you all to see. Eventually, I want to have a whole collection of my best memories of my dog in comic form!
He had a fun and sometimes unusual life for a dog, and this is my way of commemorating that life. And for anyone curious, his breed was American Eskimo, aka Eskie. Hence the title!
