I don't think I would have managed to cover up my mistakes and finish this without aleutia-the-weasel's help. She basically repainted the entire background, which was a total mess of watercolor ineptitude before I handed it off! I finished it off by coloring our young coyote girl the best I could to complement the desert around her.
This is my perhaps-too-flirtatious take on one of stevegallacci's coyote sisters, and even if the attire is a bit anachronistic for her, I couldn't resist drawing that little ensemble ;3 He did a couple sketches of his own, based on the WIP:
"Coyote versus Coyote"
"Coyote Girl attempts Coyote sexy"
So much fun, once things got going again!
Watercolor, gouache, pen, colored marker on 9x12" cold-press board

Thanks!
Thanks!
Kalahari doing his thing as usual i love what you do so much friend ♡♡♡♡
That's definately Coyote at his most seductive! (Like Loki in his mythology, Coyote is rather gender fexible, so is all too adept at out-sexy-ing his Daughters) THAT IS SUCH A HOOT!
That's a special kind of skill, to out-sexy your own daughter XD I love your take on this with poor coyote girl struggling to keep her balance!
Coyote is special/awful, as a trickster god and all. Coyote Woman is his Daughter (seduced a local woman as a particularly handsome young man) and the Twins are his incestious Daughters. He is able to draw on the desires of his victims to be as alluring as possible. In rage, Coyote Woman has link-cursed herself to him, so neither can shift or do major magic without the others knowledge/permission. The two Daughters have the full range of potential denied their parents. This could be a bad thing, as the one Daughter also knows something of science, including physics and astrophysics, so could become the maker, or unmaker of worlds.
A clairifiaction on the Coyote Sisters, sure they have the potential to do stuff, but as the one discovered trying to do the sexy, they don't have the experience and cultivated guile of millennia to work with.
Quite the lovely collaboration! Though, I must admit, I've got somewhat of a specist bias. xD
Thanks to this little trade, I've drawn my first coyotes in . . . many years :O
A lot of thanks goes to Liz for giving me the inspiration to finish the coloring!
"Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"

Squeeeee indeed! beautifully done. Great that you were to recover the coloring after the initial [you will excuse this one, I hope!] faux paw. The Colonel

Thanks! It was so long since I really put my colored markers to use . . . I'm glad I didn't mess it all up. Hehe, the thighs beckoned me to keep at it XD
It cam out very colourful despite what you said in the description. I would not have known. :)
Wow, beautiful. Fantastic work.
Always a good day when we get to see your skill on display.

Thanks :) It's been too many days! I've been hard at work, but not all of it is stuff I can reveal right now.
So glad this picture came into existence! And gave us an excuse for an unintended collab :) You've got skill, kid! Don't ever give it up.
I should've said the same to you! This was the best unintended collab I've ever done. It gave me new hope seeing that background all painted in :D
-Yeah, excuse me! I'm trying to make water network for our village, and looking for something that i can use as a plunger. About that thick.
I really want to stream again, too! All last month I was working on illustrations for a book, so I couldn't show those, but now I'm working on personal art again so it should be possible :)
I have no weds for how magnificent this is. You're just amazing at what you do and always have been.~
Very nice combination of the different media. I love the painterly techniques in the background, and how they complement the clean markers of the character. It really feels like the combination transcends the styles of either individual artist.
