Artemis is a cat, and Archie is a dog...I think?

“Here’s your receipt.”
“Thank you!” Archie took the paper and placed it beside himself as he slowly drank his warm chocolate-milk.
At the drive-by, it was pretty early in the morning, and it was about few minutes after the whole incident has occurred. Not that he particularly likes to think of these events too often, but he is rather passive about them.
“Enjoying yourself?” Archie did not respond to the familiar voice, mostly because she was enjoying the sun rising out from the horizon slowly, painting the dark-blue sky with red hues. The trees’ shadows were stretching along the road beautifully in her opinion, although she generally likes the scenery of the place. A trip to the mountain-pass sounds about nice.
“Is Martha safe?” She asked without turning away. This did not, in fact, soured her companion’s attitude.
“She is with the police. They’ll be looking into it, but I doubt they can find anything.”
“Then why not forge an evidence?”
“Remember what I told you last time?”
“You can’t do that, because it is against the rules.”
“Exactly.”
“Can I do it?”
“If you can find a killer who has shredded several bodies and piled them one-atop-another and left it as a display, I do not believe you can do anything that effective.”
Archie nodded, stating to himself that at least he tried.
“So why did you come here now?”
“I need to tell you that you’ll be necessary for the next one I found. He has been spotted in the camp I hear two times, but not so much since.”
“Another camp one?” Archie locked his gray-eyes against his compatriot’s more blackish-ones, as if he were a drawing.
“It’s summertime, what did you expect?”
Suddenly a tall, lanky rabbit came to the table.
“Sorry, I didn’t notice you there.” He told Archie nervously, as she simply stood up.
“Oh, don’t worry, it happens sometimes.” She did look rather unremarkable truthfully, a mammal with brown fur, wearing a baggy hooded-shirt and jeans. His ears perked up.
“No! I mean… you fell from somewhere?” His expressions seemed lost.
“His buddies told him to come up and ask you out.” Her yellow-suited friend told Archie out-loud.
Really? She thought. The brows on companion’s black mask furrowed.
“Are you really going to go out with him?”
Why not?
“There is a half a likely chance he’ll end up in car-crash.” Archie was taken aback by this prediction. “As long as you both go out.”
Archie was silent, as the young tall rabbit kept flubbing his words, trying to get out something. Artemis finally rolled his eyes.
“How about you turn him down now, I’ll get you a couple to live with, and then I’ll get you to come to my next mission, whadya say?”
Archie looked at Artemis, who was already pretty much fixing his bright magenta tie and his yellow suit, before he simply “walked away” into the window. Archie stood up, his head barely reaching the rabbit man’s chin.
“I appreciate the offer, but I gotta run. Talk to you later.” The tall rabbit was a bit dumbfounded.
“Wait wasn’t there…?”
Archie came outside and breathed heavily the fresh air. He had something to look forward to now.
