Vilous Web-comic / Web-manga
Episode 4: The Twelve Plainswalkers / 12人ぼっちの平原
Place: Northern lands - Astna Plains
Timeline: TBD
Vilous comic/manga is made in omnibus form, for showing Vilous worldview along the history on Vilous Chronology.
Note: all of our comics are read from right to left, which is typical of manga style literature.
As the remaining Plainswalkers step through the bubble, they each take one last look back at their fading comrade. A final echo of Little Chatter's voice urges them to make haste. Little Black-Ears is particularly upset, as they considered Little Chatter to be one of their dearest friends.
The Ten Plainswalkers are now Nine.
My comic can be found on my official website www.vilous.net and is usually updated Monday & Fridays.

Mick hasn't given me a 100% confirmation of death, but also didn't deny it. So... most likely yes, Little Chatter is gone...
It is still horrible that this little sergal has been trapped in a loop... at least it seems that they will be more secure in some way. ':3
Good Work, Keep it up. =D
PS: I hope Black-Eara does not do something silly... ':v

I don't think Little Chatter is caught in a loop. I theorize that they will fade away, and their soul will be released and returned to the rest of the tribe (as in their beliefs).
Either way, I had fun (or as much as I could in this sad scene...) making Little Chatter's final words all jagged when making this translated page.
I don't think Black-Ears will do anything crazy, but they DO seem to be rather wracked with grief...

I still want to think that Chatter... will get some way to associate his sum to a single body to get out... anyway, your choice to endless emotional suffering is better. ':3
THIS is why Northern sergals often are shown with a rather spooked and unsettled look to them. They live in a truly terrifying place. This is why General Rain, for all the horrors of her war, was still seen as doing a lot of good by helping advance the quality of life of the Northern tribes to ascend past having to fear the wildlands like these poor sergals.
So they get digested as their friends watch. Yeah, not gonna lie, this is pretty F****d up. This whole comic had a decent start and now it's getting way too dark and just wrong. Watching children getting picked off like they are in some sort of horror movie. Don't get me wrong, I like gore at times, but this just seems unnecessary and wrong. If things don't improve, I'm outta here and un-watching.
Have you looked at the tag/keyword? To me, since they came back from those bubbles, I feel that something is not right. I smell a trap. I just read the tag and it kinda confirm what I was thinking.
I can't confirm either way as I literally don't know what is coming next, but from what was explained to me behind-the-scenes, the bubbles are safe to go through AS LONG AS YOU ONLY TOUCH ONE AT A TIME, as seen in this comic where they enter the single bubble.
Little Chatter's trouble came when he tried to squeeze between TWO bubbles, and touched them BOTH at once.
So yeah. I don't think it's a trap... but if it is, that will be quite devious. :O

Sorry, but this is way too complicated for me. All I see are children being killed in horrible ways like in some sort of horror movie. In addition I'm used to the usual left to right then down comic format. Manga style does nothing except confuse me even further. Not to mention everything is far too alien.
The alien landscape and strange flora and fauna, some of which is dangerous, is par for the course for me. I roleplay. However, I like having something still relatable. Trees still being trees. Fish being fish. Draft animals being draft animals. When you change everything, make everything completely different (think Pandora vs Earth) it is extremely confusing.
Also, I don't like children being killed. Souls being reincarnated or whatever, it doesn't matter. It still is traumatizing. Consider this; a werewolf can regenerate wounds. Only silver will leave lasting injuries. However, it still hurts. Thusly, being stabbed would still hurt, even though the werewolf heals right after. The pain remains. The memory of the pain remains.
Maybe I'm also reading into this too much, but this comic is just really rubbing me the wrong way. I just see death and pain happening to little kids and I'm not a fan of it. Hence, if it doesn't improve then I'm going to engage Viewer Discretion Mode and decide to stop concerning myself with what innocent kid has been horribly slaughtered today.

Fu**ed up, yeah. But they aren't being digested. Think of it this way -- their original body was cloned, but the clones are unable to hold themselves together for long and begin to break down. In fact, consider Undertale -- once the soul is broken (by taking too much damage) or removed from a monster's body, the monster turns to dust and dies. Kind of the same thing here.
There's a chance that there is a "prime" Little Chatter that will survive, and if it were MY story, that would have happened. But it doesn't look to be the case here.

more like prime chatter was divided up physical and technicly soul as well or so on and the physical body is to weak molecule wise to sustain it self thus turn to goo. aka pulling out jenga block soon the tower falls. thus last one surviving may been the true chatter prime
Even if it isn't digestion, it doesn't seem like the process is very enjoyable or even painless. I'd imagine extreme pain, horror, and eventual loss of consciousness.
Also, I'm probably the one person in the world who hasn't played Undertale. Seen Jacksepticeye play the pacifist route, so I have an idea as to what you're referring to.
