Balam K’u (Meaning Jaguar Sacred in Aztec)
Part of the artists challenge. We decided on felines and we each chose a color out of a hat. Mine is Green as you can see. ;) The feline I chose was a black Panther Aztec style with a jade jaguar skull. Had a lot of fun with this one!

he resembles Tepeyollotl... an Aztec god of the mountains and earthquakes, it is really impressive
Incredible! You are an amazing artist! I think Balam K'u is actually in a Mayan language, though, and not Nahuatl. Do you(or anyone, for that matter) know if the Aztecs adopted this particular god, and kept the Mayan name?

Awesome! I love the Aztec-style jewelry and the soft glow emanating from the skull is a nice touch.
